What made it even more special was the warmth and energy throughout the evening. The passion, care, and attention to detail made our celebration feel unique and personal. Even the spontaneous dance moments added to the joy and made the night extra memorable!
The entire team’s hard work and hospitality shone through, and we couldn’t be more grateful. We were so caught up in the happiness of the day that we hardly took pictures—but the memories remain crystal clear.
We’re already looking forward to enjoying this incredible food again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Tamil flavors paired with unforgettable hospitality.
We ordered Chilli Gobi which was hot, crispy and spicy; Mysore Masala dosas were tasty and authentic; Peanut masala was a bit different from what we expected but tasted good, and coffee was decent.
The total was $62 (with tip), little on the higher side.
The ambience was classy, and the owner was friendly and welcoming, frequently checking in on us. We recommend this place for authentic South Indian food in an upscale setting.
Not to mention we were successful in making our bowl empty that confirms how great each dish is.
Apollo Fish – Took back to Swagath, Hyderabad memories.
Tandoori Chicken – As soon as the dish placed on our table, we could enjoy the aroma coming right out of it.
Chicken Noodles – First bite took me to Mumbai, the.n asked for fresh lime juice, bang on hit back to streets of India while in USA.
Chicken Boneless Biryani – Perfect to taste buds
We absolutely loved the appetizers—the pakodas were perfectly crispy and the beetroot cutlets were a standout. Don’t leave without trying their house special dessert, the pistachio basundi; it was incredible. To top it off, the owners are incredibly kind and accommodating. Highly recommended!
The menu is decent, featuring a mix of traditional and unique offerings. The tandoori chicken stood out with its flavorful seasoning and a unique dip that complemented the dish well. The mandi biryani, while a great concept, was slightly on the drier side. The shawarma roll is a nice addition and something distinctive to this place.
Ms. Jayashree, our host, was warm and welcoming, adding to the overall positive experience. A delightful touch was the complimentary welcome drink and sahi tukda dessert, which made the meal feel even more special for Women’s Day.
Overall, Kaanchi Indian Cuisine is a good spot for those looking for an Indian dining experience with a unique theme and hospitable service. With slight improvements in some dishes, it could be even better!
The garlic naan is the perfect amount of garlic and crispiness! The allepy coconut shrimp dish with the real mango chunks in it is delicious! Service was friendly and attentive on a Saturday night at 6pm. Portions are huge! Plenty to take home for leftovers (see my last video in the review)!
