My favorite is the crispy garlic chicken, I was worried when they change the breading, but after getting home and trying it, I thought it was just as delicious as the original crispy garlic chicken and the crispy garlic green beans are just the best still with a little bit of crunch it’s one of my new favorites. Ka-pow Thai really knows how to cook wonderful Thai food, very delicious food. I tell all my friends about them.

I ordered Ka Pow for the first time and when through so much to be able to pick up the food ( my fault because i didn’t read instructions first).
There are not actual restaurants or truck but just the commissary kitchen.
Overall, the food is really really good and authentic. And everybody was nice and helpful. I ordered 2 entire and 2 appetizers for $60 (2 people) and we still have a little left over for next day.

Best Thai takeout spot in west Seattle! The wagyu beef with rice and the pad see ew are my go to order and it’s consistently so good. The light spice level is the perfect amount of spice and definitely has a kick, I can’t imagine doing the Thai spicy! Takeout is in the back and it’s super convenient for pickup.

Best Pad Thai I’ve ever had. Super flavorful with plenty of veggies, meat, and aromatics. Good portion for the price. I’m usually hesitant to order from commissary kitchens but this place is legit. I called when I arrived and they brought out my order right away with a smile. I’ll be back whenever I’m craving Thai takeout!

I wish I had taken photos of the food, but we were so excited to eat that I forgot. Some tips for easy ordering:
1. You must order online through THEIR website — you cannot order at the window.
2. It is not a food truck.. it is a large commissary kitchen shared by a few different restaurants. KaPow is on the back side closer to the intersection, and
3. You’ll have to call to let them know you’re there.
But on to the food! Holy Jesus lord in HEAVEN was this food good. We used to eat at Bang Bar, but their prices are exorbitant, there is hardly any meat in their dishes (even when I pay for extra), and they can’t get their spice rating consistent. So my roomie and I have been trying to find a new Thai place for our main place.

Enter, KAPOW! Had a bit of a kerfuffle ordering (didn’t know we couldn’t order there), but we now know to order off the website. The woman who works there literally walked hot cruchy rolls TO MY CAR for free because of the wait. They were AMAZING. We got our food before the estimated finish time and brought it home where we stood at the counter stuffing our faces like heathens before we decided to slow down and dish up into a bowl. It was just that good — we didn’t want to stop eating.

The portions were MASSIVE. It was so much food. My roommate got the Pineapple fried rice (+tofu, -egg, -fish sauce) and it was easily three portions of food. Also, I mistakenly went to the window when we first got there, and spoke with the woman employee (i feel so bad that i dont know her name) before ordering. I let her know we needed the rice dish to be vegan, and there was no where to specify this online. She said she would remember, so I ordered online, but then I forgot to check a box on the website when ordering for gluten free. She literally came out to my car to verify my order. So so SO nice of her.

My father and I got Pad Si Iew with Sirloin steak, and there was more meat than noodle in this dish! How generous! And the flavor? 10/10! Absolutely delicious mix of sweet and salty from the brown soy. I’m heating some up for lunch as we speak. We added steamed vegetables for 7.00 more, and they were cooked perfectly. My dad kept raving about them. They were perfect al denté.
I ordered the Ka Pow Chicken over rice. Again, massive freaking portion. I easily have 70% left over. And jam packed with flavor. The ground chicken absorbed so much basil and spice flavor that every bite was so satisfying. A few nice big chunks of red bell pepper were a welcome change from the normal green bell pepper at other Thai restaurants. So glad I tried something new because this was delicious.

To sum up: Wonderful service, great portion sizes, and amazing food. I called them in the middle of eating just to tell them how great the food was.

UPDATE!!!!!

I have ordered from here numerous times since the original post, and the food is ALWAYS amazing. I posted some pictures so you can see the food and portion sizes. I already dished up my KaPow Chicken over rice and STILL had two portions left. And look at this glorious Pineapple Fried rice with those huge chunks of tofu! So good!
This is one of the best restaurants in town with an amazing owner and chef. She is so absolutely sweet and kind. Please be super nice to her and eat her delicious food!

My favorite Thai food in Seattle. All the dishes are excellent – noodles, rice, stir fry, curry – it’s all incredible. The wagyu beef is a favorite and the curry noodles. They often throw in extras and are so considerate and kind. It’s only a matter of time until they open their own restaurant but I hope it’s not far from here
