Good food and specials. Indoor/outdoor and lively but not overly loud. Chimichanga was flavorful and street corn was a great side (I chose on the cob). Additionally had their chicken elote roll with dipping sauce (not shown), a fantastic recommendation from Ayla behind the bar who handled the restaurant and still provided great service. Hannah was also kind enough to adjust one of the tvs for that night’s big game.

had such a great experience here and it was honestly made even better by our server, Olivia. She was absolutely awesome from start to finish — super friendly, attentive, and made us feel really welcomed the entire time. She checked in at the perfect moments, made great recommendations, and had such a positive attitude that it really stood out. The food was great, but the service is what will bring me back. Olivia went above and beyond and made the whole meal feel special. Definitely one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a while!

We came in for the invite only soft opening and it is definitely K38 in a much nicer bougie upscale atmosphere! There is a soft opening on May 28th but the grand opening will be May 3rd in time for Cinco de Mayo weekend fun! Our waitress Olivia was fantastic as she was very attentive (but not annoying in the least) and everything came out as delicious as we hoped. We will be back time and time again for sure and just hope we can get back in when we want because everyone is going to love this spot!!!

Great atmosphere. Wonderful service. Food was absolutely delicious. I got the steak taco salad and a watermelon margarita. The salad was fresh and steak was cooked perfectly and had great flavor! The watermelon margarita was the best I had ever had also with fresh ingredients. My husband got the blackened shrimp burrito and house margarita. He said it was delicious as well.

Super excited to have k38 in Carolina Beach. This location is under the proximity condos on CB rd. This spot has both indoor and outdoor seating and an epic bar that is also indoor/outdoor. Food is top notch like their previous locations. Olivia was our server and super friendly and knowledgeable. The manager John was super accommodating and answered our questions. We are looking forward to dining here a lot this summer.

Loved eating here!! The food + drinks + service was all a 10/10 (highly recommend the wannabe margarita). Our server Lauren was very attentive and on top of things! The atmosphere is great and you can see the marina. Very cool CB beach vibes! The manager also came by and checked on our table and was very friendly. So happy to have a great new spot like this in CB!

Absolutely amazing place! We had Lindley for our server and she was so sweet and got our drinks and food out so fast! She was helpful with any questions we had. I will definitely be going back – John the manager was also super nice and friendly and came over to ask if everything was good. 10/10 experience and food!!

K38 is a great addition to Carolina Beach! The service is excellent. They welcome everyone at the door. Very nice indoor and outdoor seating. They also offer TVs that you can see sitting inside and even outside at the bar. Speaking of the bar…. I hope you’re lucky enough to have Ayla as your bartender. She mixed me the best margarita I’ve ever had. She is my favorite bartender on the island! Cheers

This establishment has become a Wilmington NC staple for our family. No matter the location, you know what you are getting. Fresh, tasty, and reasonable. You can’t go wrong with the rolls, tostada, or enchiladas. Tonight was a soft opening for the new location in Carolina Beach, and I tried the Island shrimp wrap. Something new for a new venue. Shrimp cooked to perfection, and everything was fresh. Love the house picante. This restaurant is beautiful. Can’t wait to spend some nights around the fire pit on the very large outdoor seating area. Our bartender Ayla was very helpful and pleasant. For all you looking for a great meal if you are local or just visiting you can’t go wrong. Not tourist food.
