K2 Cafe & Carry Out was opened in 2015 and specializes in ready to heat and serve gourmet take-out meals. K2 is the companion to Katharine & Company, which is located at 1495 Calder @ MLK in the historic Mildred Building. In the summer of 2018, K2 was relocated to 4150 Calder. K2 Cafe & Carry-Out is for those who love good food but may not have the time or energy to prepare a full meal. K2 Cafe & Carry-out is also perfect for those who enjoy entertaining but don’t have the resources or time to plan and execute an event. We offer salads, soups, entrees, vegetables and desserts, all available for dining in and take-out. Our choices are a healthy alternative to fast food using the freshest, seasonal ingredients.

The cafe is super beautiful and cozy, the hibiscus tea was so delicious. The workers were very nice too! The only thing I wouldn’t get is the Mac n’ cheese, the texture is sorta plsstic-y. Will definitely come back to try the rest of the menu!

Cappuccino + peanut butter cookie + chipotle chicken sandwich and the quinoa as a side. Delicious. Thankyou for the options you have available for those of us trying to eat healthier on a daily basis. I don’t know when exactly I’ll be back, but whenever I’m in for work I’ll definitely be stopping by again.

LOVE Katharine & Co and K2! So easy to grab a nice healthy meal on the way home for dinner. Salmon is always perfect and I get two meals out of it. Can’t resist the baked goods! I thought I hated scones til I tried Katherine’s! The peanut butter cookies are out of this world!

I’ve always enjoyed pretty much everything of Katharine’s that I’ve had in the past few years. This is both at the restaurant, Katharine & Company, as well as here at K2.

I can grab tasty stuff almost anytime and take it home to enjoy.

The quinoa is my absolute fave!! I love this stuff! I like to grab a quart and munch on it over several days. It is the absolute best!

The staff is always friendly and helpful, too. 🙂
