Visited Kensington Antique Row for the first time and had an early lunch with my friend here. A beautiful and elegant yet comfy setting with great atmosphere and service. Delectable food, casual international bistro cooking.
We had their two-course meal. I really enjoyed their fresh house salad and their dressing was very good (I got it on the side). The dishes we ordered were very flavorful and not salty. We were too full to try their dessert, but they sound and look very delicious.
I highly recommend this place when you’re nearby, and I will definitely visit again with my family 🙂

My husband, who grew up in France, and I went to this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. Everything that he ordered, he absolutely loved it, but me not so much.
Hubby had the escargot, lamb shank, and creme brulee (his favorite dessert) and it was all very good. He even said the wine was excellent. I had the brussel sprouts soup (forgot the official name) which was awesome and the swordfish which didn’t agree with me, but hubby thought it was great. I finished with their chocolate mousse which was also very good.
The staff were very polite and attentive. The restaurant space was small but cozy.
We really enjoyed ourselves and would certainly return.

A quaint little restaurant with good tasty fare. The lunch 2-course menu is a great deal at $16.99. Save room for the K Town Bistro Trio dessert – it is a great ending to a meal and enough to share with a friend.

I went on mother’s day so this may not be the best representation but here it is: There was excellent service, but not the best vegetable dishes (a bit flavorless and al dente) The house made strawberry sorbet was very good. Vegan options are possible with a few edits but they did make both the salad and the main wrong (so I guess they don’t get many edits to the dishes) but they were very apologetic and quick to remake it.

Great lunch and brunch location. The fried oysters were pretty great as was the creme brulé 🙂 Some of our portions were split, so it’s only half of what you’ll normally get

Lovely spot. My entree was the best cooked swordfish I have had anywhere. I’m glad I ordered it, because I typically don’t since it’s so few and far between to find a place that knows how to handle that particular fish. I wish we’d had room for dessert, bc the appetizers and main plates were so good, even the small garnish-type side salads were made of vibrant, fresh greens and delicately flavored dressing. The recently added paint scheme is charming and elegant.
Updated review – we were there again two days ago and still appreciate the quality of the food and the service. The stroganoff, ahi and short ribs were all excellent. Also the wine was delicious and well priced?

Went here on a Wednesday night, which is half price wine night, and enjoyed our meal. The service was great, cordial, attentive but not intrusive. Menu was diverse with options for just about everyone. I started with the crispy oysters – came with a mini salad and oysters laid on an avacado puree. Didn’t think it would work but it did. Wife had a pumpkin soup that tasted of pumpkin and not of the infamous pumpkin spices. Entree for me was pork osso bucco (pictured). The meat was perfect, tender and delicious. The sides were a delicious sweet potato gratin, not easy to keep some firm texture with sweet potatoes but they did, and there was a side of perfectly cooked Brussels sprouts. If there was a slight criticism, the bordelais sauce was a bit flat and the Brussels sprouts had literally no seasoning, despite being told otherwise in the dish description. One could say this is why there is salt and pepper on the table. We finished with the chocolate mousse (also pictured). It was everything a chocolate mousse should be – creamy, rich, and loaded with chocolate flavor. Overall a good experience, we will return.
