This small taco shop offers interesting twists on the Mexican food we’ve already grown to love.
Some of my favorite items on the menu would be:
1). Short Rib Tacos – Their Korean fusion Taco. Meat was tender and the season was delicious.
2). KPASA Fries – Nothing beats fries with cheese, a dollop of guac, asada and pico de gallo.
3). Fried Rice Burrito – Another Korean Fusion item on their menu. They use kimchi fried rice! BOMB!
4). Kruncy Wrap – People favorite and well justified
The staff is always friendly and welcoming. If you have any questions about their items, they’re always ready to answer your questions!
This is a Must-Go-To place in LA. Don’t sleep on KPASA!
Birria – Bursting with salt and flavor and tender as birria should be. Had bright pickled onions on top, which weren’t too sour
Chicken – Often the weakest point of any Mexican place’s protein selection – not so here – cubed, grilled, standard good tender white meat chicken with a slight, but not overbearing, hint of lime.
Veggie – Heavy on bell pepper flavor; juicy but not soggy. Didn’t have any special taste, but felt filling and held their own. If I was a vegetarian, I’d feel pretty good about these, especially if I wanted to add hot sauce.
The taco tortillas were especially good. Didn’t have that cardboardy texture or fall apart like a lot of cheaper corn tortillas do.
I especially recommend the vampiro tacos.
Eat-in space is small and not crowded but clean. Order via touchpad. Korean short rib meat $+1 to cost. Service was efficient and friendly Saw them serving up lots of to-go orders in addition to the walk-ins, so they seem popular for that.
Can’t say much about parking, but KTown is hard to park at in general. Easy to find off the Metro.
