We just stopped by the Village Tap for the first time. WOW! The place is very nice! We had a tenderloin and chili along with a side of mushrooms. This was the best tenderloin I’ve ever had. The chili was perfect, a tiny bit sweet with a hint of heat as well. The bartender was very nice and helpful!! This will be a regular option for use in the future.

This is a great stop just a few minutes off the freeway. We did not have food, but met my brother and SIL who were traveling I74 the opposite direction. The beer was cold, and the decor and atmosphere were amazing! Pam, the bartender is GREAT!

Had a very enjoyable fish fry meal at this place- restaurant? Pub? Tavern? Not sure how to describe it, but it has a very unique interior. Lots of old wood, unique artifacts from local area. Very interesting inside. The bar is amazing. They have fish fry from 5 o’clock on on Friday up until end of lent. I hope they continue it though because it’s a big hit. The food was plentiful! Could not eat it all. I’m not sure how many chunks of fish there were, but there was also a breadstick, french fries, coleslaw, baked beans, And little corn bites. It was a huge amount of food. The fish was cooked perfectly and the breading had, I think, just a little bit of cayenne pepper in it that gave it a very pleasant bite, But certainly not spicy. The baked beans were very good as was the coleslaw. The french fries were skinny, which are my favorite. Cost the meal is $15 per person, we also got lemonade, which was two dollars. Well worth the trip to Deer Creek.
