Support local! Went here for ribs as I was craving ribs, and the reviews drew me to the place. I ordered the rib plate, but since I only wanted ribs, the first option, Rib Sandwich, made sense as suggested by the owner. I paid $18 because I ordered 2 orders of the rib sandwich. One to satisfy my craving and one for later midnight snack . The meat was cooked right (first time trying southern bbq, so maybe my opinion doesn’t hold merit yet…haha).
•Will I go again? Yes, I would. •Did I eat in? No, carry out. This place is more like a one-man show, so I wouldn’t eat in unless the gentleman who served us is okay with it. I do not know if there will be a table service if you decide to eat in.
•Payment options? CASH ONLY. He does have drinks, Pepsi products.

Excellent hash and rice, great ribs, I will probably have the sauce on the side next time. The chicken was also great. Please add sweet tea to your offerings. Overall great!

This is by far the best BBQ in Sumter. His hash is wonderful. Everything is cooked over open flame. Would highly recommend his restaurant.

I’ve been driving past this location for months as my office is right down the road, figured I would give it a shot today! Glad I did! A little hole in the wall but definitely great food, especially the hash and the rice. Will definitely be back! Inside is dated and small, only reason for not being 5 stars….but you won’t be disappointed with the BBQ!

My first time eating there was this past Friday. It was a little bit of a wait, given as he appears to be the only one that cooks, prepares take out, dine-in and checkouts. Other than him being shorthanded on help, the food was the best I’ve ever had, in terms of barbecue. I’ve been calling over the course of the last few days to get takeout, but there’s be no answer and I haven’t spotted him outside on the grill. Looking forward to my next meal.

My.husband and I truly love the food here. We always go back!!! Its been a year!! The Ribs are to die for and that sauce out of sight. It is a.bit of a wait. Just have to.be patient. I had BBQ ribs, hash rice and beans and it was the best BBQ I have eaten in South Carolina! Prices are more than reasonable, IMHO. The place is perhaps eclectic for lack of a better word. Some may prefer to go elsewhere, but the BBQ the best in State!

Finally tried this spot… Ribs were really great! Put some bells and whistles out side… I really thought the ribs were great and it was pork, which I tried not to eat and my stomach didn’t hurt… (Listen some people cannot cook food)
