Great food at this Korean place. Was craving soup and this spot did not disappoint! Their fried fish appetizer that comes with the side dishes is amazing!

Large portions and they keep their rice in a metal bowl that keeps it nice and warm the entire time you’re eating.

Fantastic Korean food. The owners were super friendly. The staff was amazing and the food was superb. Some places are either too salty or no flavor but K-Grill & Tofu House was on the spot. All our food was perfect. The eel was soft and so flavorful.

The cold Beef Bibimbap was also very delicious. Add the red spicy and sweet sauce and you got yourself a sweet spicy cold bowl of awesomeness.

Eating Korean tofu soup with ribs and chicken was different at this restaurant. They serve the rice in steel bowl with a wood support and the side dishes were perfect

K-Grill & Tofu House is a family run Korean restaurant on the main San Mateo Avenue drag in San Bruno. We were nearby and decided to try this instead of the usual Pho de Ngyuen.
We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Place was packed. Banchan includes a pan fried king fish!
Several tables ordered the Budae Jjigae for 2 people. 4.1 stars on Yelp

Safety Pluses – Online menu, Delivery services available, online ordering.

Food Review:
Banchan had 6 types and included a whole fish. Nice touch!

Galbi ($38.95) GRILLED MARINATED SHORT RIBS WITH BONE hit the spot with good flavors and reasonable quantity. Cook looking rice container. 8.5/10

SQUID BOKEUM ($28.95) or spicy stir-fried squid was a huge dish and pretty spicy even though we asked them to tone it down. Lots of chunks of squid on a bed of bean sprouts and other items. 8/10

Parking: street parking only.

Restaurant: clean, and good customer services.

Food:
Ordered two tofu soups: 1 combo, and 1 fish roe. Both soups have very good flavors, not watery. Highly recommended to try tofu soups. These soups come with small side dishes, rice, and raw eggs.

This restaurant’s tofu soups is one of the few I would recommend to try.

The food here is incredibly authentic and bursting with flavor. This was our second visit, and with it being just a quick 7-minute drive from the airport, it’s the perfect stop—whether you’re heading out or picking someone up. ️ The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Definitely coming back again!

The kalbi was tender and had nice grill flavor, but a bit on the expensive side for the portion size. The soft tofu soup with vegetables and no spice packed a lot of flavor and tastes very homey. The meal came with 6 banchans and a small grilled fish. They were happy to give refills on the bachan. Overall a nice dinner.

For the past two weeks, I’ve eaten at K Grill & Tofu House twice. The ambiance is very welcoming and reminds me of the soondubu restaurants in KTown LA. During both times of eating here, we were immediately seated and ordered our favorite Korean dishes on the menu.

We ordered japchae, beef bulgogi and dolsot bimbimbap. The japchae is packed with sauteed veggies and has an umami taste. The sweet potato noodles were also perfectly cooked. The dolsot bibimbap surpassed my standards and had adequate ingredients and flavor. The bulgogi was perfectly tender and filling. Overall, the food is truly delicious and authentic. K Grill & Tofu House has become my favorite Korean restaurant in San Bruno.

I don’t come often but when I am in the area, I try to enjoy dinner with friends who are also looking to enjoy authentic Korean food. I live the banchan with a whole grilled fish, kimchi, and other small plates. The vibe is local with many specialties, one of which is the Dolsop Bibimbap, either with seafood or short ribs, cannot decide which is better – i wish there is an option to have all the toppings. Tofu soup is delicious as is the pancakes.

It’s so popular, and it smells so good inside! We got the tofu soup, and the spicy spice level is not for the weak. Seafood pancake was ok

Very sweet hostess, but I’m not sure I’d go back… maybe I ordered the wrong thing
