Unfortunately I’ll have to give K&G a 2. Service was great and so was the atmosphere. You also can’t beat the proximity in Orange St. However food places are all about the food. The chicken cutlets was extremely subpar, one of the worst I’ve ever had. Not sure if they rushed it or what. It’s unfortunate because it’s a staple in most delis. My brother also claimed his BLT was nothing special. Hopefully I caught them in a bad time but I will think twice before visiting again.

Gave 3 of my coworkers food poisoning yesterday 12/5/25 and when we called he asked very rudely “what do you want a credit” Why in the world would I want a credit that means I’d have to eat at this dirty place again. So he says if no credit then bye. Be careful eating at places like this. He doesn’t care that he made people sick, so he won’t care about making you sick either. Nasty food, nasty business, nasty attitude.

This place deserves 0 stars. My sandwich was okay I have no complaints there. My issue is with their prices and the woman’s easy ability to lie. I ordered a sandwich. I had cash and debit on hand she told me she would prefer cash instead of debit. I said okay. Threw me off a little bit but okay. After I paid for my sandwich I came back in and grabbed a juice and a bag of chips. This time she couldn’t request how she wanted payment because at this point all I had was my card. I gave her the last bit of cash I had on me for the sandwich. She tells me my total is $5.00 for a juice and bag of chips. I said okay paid for my items and asked her how much was each item she says the chips was $2.15 and the juice was $2.50. I’m not a math pro but I do know that doesn’t add up to $5.00. So I asked how did we get a total of $5.00. Each item would have to had been $2.50 a piece. At this time she is now acting like she so busy trying to take the next customers order. I laughed and I left. Upon coming out I see to teenage girls walk on the opposite side of the street. I asked them to do me a favor go in this same establishment and purchase the same exact chips that I purchased. I just wanted to see if the price was going to be the same. I gave the girls my card and told them to get whatever they wanted In compensation for helping me out but to pay for the chips separately. Guess what she charged these young black girls $3.50 for the same bag of chips she had just charged me $2.50 for. If she was paying attention instead of over charging people she would have noticed it was the same debit card that was just used not even 5 minutes prior. I thanked the young ladies for helping me out and we laughed for a while about the price hike. One of the young ladies stated maybe she raised the price by a $1.00 because it was extra air in the potatoe chip bag. nothing like good humor. I don’t think these establishments understand when you take from people you will lose 10x more in the long run. It will be more than what you took from them. Welp it’s safe for me to say I won’t. Be returning back here. I wish them well on all of their future endeavors. This was just bad business for me. But please pay attention people how you get charged at these establishments. They out here just making up prices as they go based off gender, race etc.

Decent food most of the time but the pricing makes no sense. I can get a sub special for $6 but a bacon, egg and cheese on a hard roll with a chocolate milk is almost $11?

What an great little deli. They have a menu that isn’t overwhelming for breakfast and lunch. With a few small tables to sit down. With ketchup, hot sauce, syrup, and salt & pepper at your disposal. I had a sausage egg and cheese on a hard roll. Delicious. And a good portion. (All Boars head products) Atmosphere was good. Maybe a little music would be nice. Has all you need, ATM, lotto, breakfast, lunch, and most important coffee, which was very good and was self serve. In which I love. There’s nothing better than preparing your own coffee just the way you like it. Prices are very reasonable as well. Recommend to anyone.

Pastrami & Cheese 11.55$ for the full sub was extremely hot and cheesy, was out in less than 5 mins.
Only thing that caught me off guard is the pastrami is cut small and cubed instead of big slices. It is not as salty, so tasted closer to ham, but still delicious. Will be back to try steak and cheese.

10 stars I have ordered 2 days in row had it delivered. Yesterday we had the egg meals today French toast so delicious. Delivered quickly cooked perfectly love this place! Will be ordering again for sure! Great prices, great food!!! Yummy!!!
