This is a cozy, home-style Korean–Chinese restaurant tucked away in a corner of the Convoy area, perfect for those craving comforting, everyday flavors. As soon as you walk in, you feel a warm, family-style atmosphere. The owner is very welcoming and friendly, making the experience comfortable and pleasant.

Based on recommendations from Xiaohongshu, we ordered the seafood pancake, spicy tofu soup, and grilled pork belly. The portions were generous and the value was good — even with two people, we only managed to eat about half and couldn’t finish everything. Flavor-wise, it was just okay for me, not quite as amazing as others had described. The food leans toward a hearty, traditional fusion of Korean and Chinese flavors rather than anything fancy.

If you usually enjoy the taste of casual Korean eateries, it’s worth giving this place a try.

It was very satisfying to have a nice Korean hotpot on a chilly night. Their food is pretty delicious, the pork bone hotpot we had is very big, with a lot of meats in it, it is also flavorful. Comparing to other Korean hotpot places like Jomaru, this place is not the best, but not bad at all, it more tastes like a home made. It was a little slow on a Saturday night and they were not even that busy, but their free small dishes came fast and they ate free refilled.

I got the kimchi hotpot for $50 which more than enough for two people. It’s so so so good, the service was amazing, the flavor, the tofu, kimchi, everything!! Really recommend, could be easily split between people

K Cuisine is a small spot offering decent Korean food, tucked away in a bustling plaza. Surprisingly, it wasn’t too crowded even on a Saturday night. The ambiance was authentic, with Korean conversations adding a traditional touch. However, the service speed left much to be desired—it took a long time to place our order, and the appetizers didn’t arrive promptly either.

The appetizers like fish cake, veggies, and sliced mushrooms were generally good, but the kimchi contained ginger, which wasn’t to everyone’s liking. The corn cheese was generous with cheese, but the seafood pancake was a bit tricky to eat as the shrimp and octopus pieces kept sliding off.

Their kitchen special, Boiled Pork with Cabbage Wraps, had tasty pork belly with a nice dipping sauce, but the cabbage wasn’t pre-separated, making it inconvenient to prepare. The grilled eel was a highlight in terms of portion size—long and large—but the fish bones made it uncomfortable to eat.

The Ox Knee Soup had an overwhelming amount of white pepper, making the flavor too heavy, though it did come with plenty of ox knee protein and radish.

The store’s Japanese-style decor adds a cozy, family-like warmth to the atmosphere. Despite a few standout dishes, the service speed and some food preparations could be significantly improved.

First time here not sure what to expect. Always mixed reviews for service. But that’s fine if the food is good.
Ox knee soup delicious
Beef tofu soup delicious. Try it with a scoop of gojujang if you want some spice
Korean short rib delicious. Not too fatty and tender
Kid friendly
Would come out again 🙂

Always nice to enjoy quiet dinner, enjoying Korean seafood pancake and tofu soup. Light and refreshing, like a hangover meal.

I’m coming and waiting at the door , I see the waiter outside to talking with the customer, when she see me with no welcome and ignore me. After I get a seat have give me a menu then ignore me for 5-7 minutes more, the food is not bad but the service is terrible. I don’t know but I think the owner is get my order, and he drunk with his friend from the other table. Like you drunk a go take order for customers.

The restaurant space is quite cramped but the staff’s ability to regulate customers is quite good, you don’t have to wait too long if you don’t book a table in advance. The food is very delicious, perhaps this is the reason many Koreans come to eat here.

I came here with two friends for dinner and ordered the seasoned chicken wings, tteokbokki, and soondae (blood sausage). The place is incredibly overpriced for what it is, with food that isn’t outright bad but isn’t good either; everything tasted wrong. The chicken was drowned in supermarket quality sweet and sour sauce, the tteokbokki too bland and with a mix of ingredients that didn’t contribute to the overall flavor, and the soondae was of low quality and not as savory as it should have been. A tourist trap, would not recommend at all.
