The gentleman at the front was kind, quick to refill drinks and checked on our table 3 times during our meal. When I went, it appears to be one person at the front and one cook.
Cleanliness met standards. No complaints.
Food
My group ordered
#7 Chicken Bulgogi
#6 Spicy Pork Bulgogi
#15 Army Stew
#1 Whole Chicken, half soy, half mild
We were informed they ran out of #4, and will take atleast 2 weeks for restock.
We ended up ordering #7 Chicken Bulgogi instead.
It was refreshing to be served what felt like a home cooked meal.
My order was the Army Stew, it had tons of dried Gochugaru (Korean pepper flakes). A perfect dish if you love spicy food. Its not too overwhelming, but each bite makes you want to keep the Spicy numbness from the soup.
My final thoughts on the Stew was that it felt small for $18. I would of loved a bit more vegetables and tofu.
I sampled the Pork and chicken dishes that the other people at my table ordered.
Pork bulgogi had a slight smokey flavor that sticks to its fatty meat. It was great.
The Chicken Bulgogi tasty super yummy as well, initially. The first few bites were good, it wasnt until 10 minutes later when I grabbed another sample from my friend that I noticed the chicken was actually a bit salty. So I’m not sure if parts of the dish was not seasoned evenly or if I ate something during our meal that changed the way my taste buds perceived the dish.
The whole chicken came pre-cut, loved the soy flavor, maybe a bit too sweet for my taste. But I still enjoyed switching between the half-half flavor we ordered. The Mild Spicy flavor we ordered felt a little underwhelming. Next time will have to try the hottest Spice level for the flavor.
I really enjoyed my visit, kind workers at this establishment. Three of our main dishes were served within 10 minutes, the whole chicken came out 5 minutes later. I was really impressed by how fast they were able to cook and deliver to our table. The food was cooked thoroughly and flavorful.
I highly recommend giving this place a try!
The crunchy garlic boneless chicken wings were scrumptious!! As were the pickled radish that came with it! Highly recommend.
They kindly turned down the K-Pop music for us, which was nice.
The kimchi had great flavor, and the vinegar-pickled radish was crisp and refreshing, pairing perfectly with the fried chicken. The ambiance was comfortable and clean, and the service was friendly and accommodating. Solid spot for Korean fried chicken—would definitely come back and try more items.
The flavor of the friend chicken were decent but this is NOT authentic korean friend chicken. The pieces were small, had insane amounts of tiny bones that I had a hard time chewing without almost cracking my teeth with shards.
Bibimbap had NO meat and they charge $16?!! Are they insane? People, just make the banchans yourself at home and make bibimbap at home. This is robbery- these people shouldn’t take advantage of folks who love korean food and culture and over charge like this. It’s genuinely embarrassing. The amount you get is sooo tiny! The rice you get for the bibimbap is as small as your palm.
We won’t be returning here as it’s not worth it. Only thing we really liked was the ample parking. I hope they bring the prices wayyyy down because I don’t see a long future if they don’t.. id rather go to bbq chicken- it’s pricey there too but at least you get a lot and the flavors are better as well as the fried texture.
-Spicy rice cakes: very good sauce.
-Pork bulgogi : always a staple! They perfected the sauce
Suggestion- offer water , more napkins when eating wings. Played k- pop in the background.
Overall great place. No line, clean , very friendly staff.
