Steak and Brisket was extremely tasty + tender, service was 10/10, waitress was very intuitive to our needs and flexible with our food requests. Highly recommend Beef Brisket and Ribeye.

We were so impressed with K-Bobs! I ordered the 12 oz sirloin steak (mushrooms and onions , yum) with fried okra and hubby ordered 3 meat bbq plate with baked potato and we shared everything. Everything was so delicious, cooked perfectly and great service. Reasonable prices for a steakhouse. We have paid more for food not nearly as good.

On a road trip, this was lunch. We ordered the special chicken fajita bowl with peppers. We didn’t know that the ingredients were about 25% beans, which we can’t eat. Also there was about 1/4″ of liquid at the bottom of your taco bowl. Peppers in large pieces and not cooked. Chunk chicken. Couldn’t open the guacamole packet. The wait staff was a little surly. Pay as you leave at the door. Won’t be back.

This was a stop on my way home. There weren’t very many places to eat in this town. It wasn’t my favorite. The original burger was good. The chicken sandwich and the Reuben weren’t so good. They had mac and cheese, which I’m pretty sure it was kraft, so not bad.

Me and my boss were driving back to Texas coming from Colorado Springs, when he mentioned a steakhouse that he really wanted to visit. I found it on the map and low and behold it was K-Bobs! I started reading some reviews and they all looked pretty good to me so we gave it a go. We went on a Wednesday around noon and it wasn’t packed at all. The staff were so so nice and helpful, and the restaurant itself was pretty comforting with their wheelbarrow wheel light fixtures up top, and other decor of similarity. We ordered fried pickles and mozzarella sticks as an appetizer, and they came out pretty dang fast. So…. I don’t know what they did here with their mozzarella sticks, but OH MY GOD they were so delicious! The pickles were just as good, and once my salmon and his 16oz ribeye came out, the true test was ready to begin. My salmon was cooked pretty dang good, a little on the drier side, but still flavorful and tender. The rice had some crunchy spots, but honestly I’ll let that pass, it wasn’t that big of a deal. I also ordered seasonal veggies to go with my salmon and they too were a little on the drier side, but with a little bit of butter PRESTO! My boss absolutely LOVED his steak. He word for word said it came out perfect! Way better than expected. Overall if you’re a traveler coming through, or if you live nearby, STOP BY THIS PLACE! Truly was amazing service, good food, and a relaxing atmosphere.

Not a fancy place, and we truly enjoy the food and the service — always tasty and friendly! Tried the Fajitas on our last visit – beef and shrimp (no rice and beans). Yum! I also love the Fried Catfish (which is gluten, dairy and egg free!) and the Salad Wagon! If you’re thinking about a Tuesday, get there early because it is usually packed!

Had the pleasure of eating some downright delicious food at K-Bob’s. I was told how good it was by quite a few people and it did not disappoint. The building is a bit dated on the inside and could use a facelift but honestly why mess with something that is working so well. The customer service was great , our waitress had our food out quick and the drinks never went dry. So let’s get on to the food.

OUR FAMOUS CHICKEN-FRIED STEAK. 9/10
Hand-Breaded in Our Signature Batter and Topped with K-BOB’S Country Gravy. Served with one sidekick.

The chicken fried steak was downright yummy. The breading has a ton of flavor and the steak was tender. The gravy was good but not really needed because of the flavor of the steak. Had mash potatoes and gravy as the sidekick. They are homemade and only needed a bit of seasoning to make them pop. Really good chicken fried steak.

K-BOB’S BURGER. 9/10
USDA Choice Beef Garnished with Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, Onions, and Pickles. Cooked to your preference.

I myself love rare to medium rare burgers, but usually they are always over cooked, not this time. A perfectly cooked rare burger is what I got. Added 2 slices of cheese because I love cheeseburgers. Topped it off with all the fixings and condiments and it was beyond perfect. Had the fries for a he side. Just fries, nothing more, nothing less.

BUTTERMILK FRIED CHICKEN TENDERS 9/10
Original or Buffalo-Style with Gravy or Ranch Dressing.

Ordered these original style with gravy and what a dish. I know they are just chicken tenders but they were cooked perfectly and the breading was crispy and seasoned to perfection. Had the fries for my side, just your ordinary fries.

HOUSE SALAD. 9/10
Lettuce, tomato, cucumber and cheese served with your choice of dressing.

It is a basic salad like most house salads. It was really good because of the veggies freshness. Had it with ranch dressing.

The front of the house was stellar and the boys on the grill put out some awesome food. These guys are what all restaurants need on the line. 10 out of 10 for K-Bob’s. It will be my go to a time I am close to Raton. Definitely a place to stop into and get some great food. They do have other locations but I can’t vouch for them but let’s hope they are just as good.

Absolutely loved this place! Reminded me of being back home in MT. Amazing home cooked meal and the salad bar was superb. We’ll definitely stop in again on our travels.

place is understaffed so service is extremely slow, food is cold, mashed potatoes are not mashed but shredded. My friend and I both ordered medium rare steaks and mine was cooked fine but with a lot fat. My friend on the other hand received his steak barely cooked, sent it back, and it came back beyond well. Workers try their best but this place is just not it. The effort is there in everyone.

friend:
my medium rare steak could have literally been used as a hockey puck the burn lines were drawn with a sharpie the service people worked hard and did there best.

i take it all back they gave it to us free. when you come here tip waiters and waitresses, they are nice people and deserve the best.

finally got brownie and it was delicious, I think place is capable of good food
