I absolutely love K&D Stateline Country Kitchen! They serve amazing Filipino/American food, and everything I’ve tried has been so flavorful and satisfying.
My favorites are the Shanghai and the Dynamite — both are so good and always cooked perfectly! The Shanghai is crispy and packed with flavor, and the Dynamite has the perfect kick. So delicious every time!
Their burgers are also a must-try — juicy, well-seasoned, and made fresh. You can really taste the quality.
Great service, cozy atmosphere, and generous portions. This is definitely one of my go-to spots when I’m craving comforting Filipino and American food. Highly recommend! ✨

This place is waaaay overrated based on the reviews. It’s clear the locals have extremely low standards. Very slow paced. Took an hour for two people to get breakfast. The food was a 2 out of 10 at best. Cheap ingredients, no real butter. Ordered over medium and got super runny eggs. Not impressed at all.

I don’t normally leave reviews but we are new to the area and stopped in today. We are always looking for little diners and love supporting veteran owned businesses. I ordered the Philly with fries, the egg rolls and he ordered the country fried steak with pintos and mashed potatoes. Mine was good. A standard Philly. The fries were good. The egg rolls were really tiny but I’ve never had Filipino egg rolls so maybe that’s just how they are. His was awful. The steak was tiny and burnt to a crisp. The instant potatoes had no salt or butter and were cold. The gravy was decent instant gravy but barely warm. His coffee was good. I had water. The bill was 37 dollars???? That math doesn’t match. There were only two women in there and they were really busy when we left so even though I asked for a box we finally gave up and I just wrapped my egg roll straws in napkins. I really wanted to like this place but paying 37 dollars was just insane. I would have been bothered by that price if his food had been good and it was absolutely not.

The food was actually pretty good. The staff interacted very well, kept my drink full.
Price not to bad either.
And they were really nice to the kids. My son is Autistic, and doesn’t mess with many people. The guy talking to the customers handled him well and my son loved him. We be going back. Highly recommend.

I make it a point to be there on Thursday’s for the Filipino specials and has been every Thursday since they opened and every dish that I’ve had has been delightful and very appetizing it is a culinary experience that everyone should try I highly recommend it their food is absolutely culturally amazing

We were coming home from playing golf in Shelby and came across this little restaurant. So we stopped in to find out what they have. Turns out they owner’s wife is Filipina and they make some Filipino dishes on their menu. Since we already had dinner that evening we decided to just snacked on a few dishes to try out. They were yummy and glad we discovered them. It’s so rare to find Filipino food around here. So next time we head up to Shelby we’ll make sure to stop by at K&D and enjoy more of their food. The family is very nice and hard working.
