10/10 the food was so good. I am a BIG foodie so I will tell you if the food isn’t but I will be back again. Sweet potato crunch and the bourbon collard greens are my favorite. The food was fresh. The lemon pepper wings were the best I had. I also had dressing with gravy which was a HIT as well. Sweet cornbread Customer service was great. Hands down so worth it. Thanks Shon. Im a picky eater because my granny which is 93 god bless her soul. Well this is beside the point. Today i had to pick up a doordash order from justshon. Food smelled So Good, i had to return back for myself. I knew when had seen my cousin coming from justshon, I knew then that the food waa good, again shes a picky eater as well a because of our grannys good cooked meals. I returned back a paid 60.00 on four plates for my family I. Everything was 10 out of 10. The only issue i had was the chicken and waffles, i asked for dark but instead got white meat. First, to clarify, I was picking up a delivery for someone else. This location is very popular and customers order delivery for miles away. That kind of dedication stands out.
The restaurant is located in a repurposed school. Parking is readily available and access is very accessible. The restaurant is in what appears to be the cafeteria of the former school, which makes perfect sense. Great music plays in the background while you dine. There is plenty of variety on the menu and the aroma is wonderful.
While I was waiting, I happened to get into a conversation with whom I believe was the owner. For some reason, I neglected to get his name. I was remarking on how dedicated the customers are to order delivery for miles away. While we were conversing, I happened to ask how his collard greens were.
He replied that they are very good. When we were done speaking, he returned to the kitchen to check on orders. A few minutes later, he returned and handed me a small container of collards to take with me. Needless to say, I was quite delighted. After the delivery, I took a few moments to try the dish. The collards were cooked just right—not mushy. The collards were in a delicate golden stock. The taste and texture were amazing. With collards this good, I can’t wait to try some of the other dishes. Highly recommended.

I just drove a hour plus from Asheville n.c. to try this place, my family and I showed up a hour before closing just to be told they were no longer taking orders! Now I understand if you’re running out of certain food items but to turn us away without even offering to sell us anything is insane to me.

I’ve been getting your food delivered at work regularly and it has been very, very good, so I wanted to give you guys five stars. Today, though, I made an order with two servings of broccoli and cheese casserole as my sides, and I got the sweet potato crunch instead. Which is very very different from Broc and cheese. I feel like half my dish isn’t what I ordered. Every item, especially the pork chops, Broc casserole, and chili dog have been extremely good.
