Authentic as it gets mom and pop won ton shop. Neighborhood gem. Fried won ton crab and crispy. Dumplings are great. Drink selection includes tea and water. Fried rice is very good. Limited seating. Great for to go as well. Something to warm you up on a typical foggy sunset day.

This place is amazing. Total Mom and Pop hidden on a side street in the most unassuming of locations, this is my comfort food in the city. Chashu with rice and a scrambled egg on top, don’t bother me I’m eating. Black beans and pickled radish as a condiment, yes please! The most attentive service from the friendliest of moms, this place makes me feel like I’m eating at home in my favorite restaurant. No decor, no frills, just awesome food. The barbecue pork is downright delicious – always get a great cut with crispy end bits!

I ordered the won ton noodle soup and it was packaged with care. Soup containers were individually bagged to avoid spilling into the other orders. The wontons were a little salty when eaten individually, but the combination of the less salty soup and noodles made the meal perfect. I suspect MSG is used in the food since I am sensitive to MSG and got a migraine an hour after eating the food. Customer Service was by a young boy and he was attentive and courteous. I recommend this place if you’re not sensitive to MSG.
The restaurant participates in the COVID Food Relief program and they serve spicy minced pork tofu over rice (ma po tofu).

Most reasonably priced menu in the Sunset! The soups are all delicious. Their rice and noodle portions are huge.

I’ve been coming here since I was young and if I don’t get the won-tons which are nice and plump, I always end up getting the scrambled egg over beef ho fun! It’s so good because the egg is perfectly cooked and soft, the beef is well flavored and the ho fun has plenty of flavor as well as being cooked just right, not too mushy soft but not hard and crispy. I would definitely recommend you come and try this local “hole-in-the-wall” that’s family owned and locally run!

Best Ho Fun
Order the soft scrambled egg and beef over ho fun. It is fresh and flavorful with tender slices of beef with fluffy egg, tossed in wide rice noodles on a blazing wok that provides great wok hay (wok breath). Perfect for when you want something fresh and smokey.
Also try their curry dumplings.

The potstickers are sublime–absolutely perfect. Mix the condiments/sauces on the table for a tasty, spicy to compliment the potstickers. I especially like their roast pork won ton soup. Their pigsfeet won ton soup is tasty also. This is a neat, clean storefront place with minimal decor but the service is friendly and attentive.

The wife gave it 5 stars. A little too much for me though. Do they use MSG?? We suspect so. Well manager what about it? If so I will not be back but if that is just shrimp shells flavour I will come back. I must say the large shrimp in the won tons was both textually and flovourly an extravaganza.

Some of my favorite won ton noodle soup in the entire city. Also best fried pot stickers.
Service has been tremendously rude to me in the past, leaving me waiting for an hour and ignoring my requests to order and summarily dismissing me when confronted.

Comfort food. Won ton soup, jook (rice porridge), noodles… We had braised beef with noodle – the beef was tender! Potstickers… Fish over rice… Curry beef over rice… Their signature turnip black bean chili sauce… we have the turnips like an appetizer.
