I’m extremely fussy when it comes to steak as it’s something I do well myself.We ordered the 10 Oz rump and Pichana steaks and they were cooked to absolute perfection! I must add, the chips are absolutely delicious too(bottomless if you’ve got room )!
I ordered my rump steak medium rare and the texture was incredible! A rump usually cooked as little as this can tend to be chewy but this cut like butter! The taste was absolutely beautiful! We were looked after by a lovely team, so warm and friendly but attentive at the same time. I believe we spoke to the Manager quite a lot, he was such a fabulous lad!
I must add a special mention for the ‘long island ice’ tea too…now that is how they’re supposed to be done

Loved this place! They know how to cook a steak. I had the 19oz ribeye and my partner and mum had the Greedy cow tray for 2 which was a platter that came served on an actual metal bin lid for the extra effect. The Ribeye was cooked to perfection that came with peppercorn sauce and unlimited beef dripping chips. And there was more than enough food on the platter for at least 3 people. Would definitely return

Just wow! We got the double steak fries from one of their pop ups in Cheshire today and the food was amazing!! The steak was juicy and the chips were crispy and hot. Staff were really lovely, friendly and clearly passionate about the food. They have a restaurant in Mold but they do pop ups too. Highly recommend.

Fantastic food, some of the best steak we’ve ever had. Bit on the pricey side but it is worth it if your celebrating like me and missus were. My only issue was I couldn’t get hold of anyone to make sure after booking online that we didn’t need to let them know we wanted a Tomahawk steak just in case they needed advance warning or something. Not a bug issue really but I did message them via the Web site and tried calling several times with no answer to the point where I wasn’t even sure they were still open for business. It also made me worry if something happened and we needed to cancel our booking so we didn’t get charged for it that I wouldn’t be able to.
It was all fine in the end and didn’t need to warn them of order but I would like them improve their communications somehow.

Fantastic meal last night, perfectly cooked (though chips were slightly over salted which disappointed as my friends had built them up to be mega!)

Food was very hit-and-miss. Bourbon bites starter and beef dripping chips were nice, but a very uneven cook on the steak (ordered medium as I’m immunosupressed but steak was well done/burnt on one end and rare on the other). Steak was also not whole, instead cut into incredibly thin strips and heaped into a pile.
Service was not great. Very inattentive and difficult to catch their eye – nobody came to check if food was okay.
Would not say it was value for money (£86 for 2 people) or worth visiting. Also tables could be cleaner.

Had an incredible anniversary meal at Just Steak in Mold — hands down one of the best we’ve had! I went for the 11oz Flat Iron steak, and it was absolutely spot on — juicy, tender, full of flavour, and cooked exactly how I asked. The peppercorn sauce was included too which is great touch keeping it nice an simple. The unlimited beef dripping chips were dangerously moreish and kept coming hot and crispy!
The cocktails were a lovely surprise too — really tasty and reasonably priced, which is rare these days. The whole place has a great vibe with its American West-style decor — lots of rustic wood, corrugated steel walls, and cow-themed touches that give it a cosy but character-filled feel.
What made the night even more special was that our first dance song — “Dancing in the Moonlight” by Toploader — just happened to play while we were eating. Completely unplanned but perfect timing!
A big shoutout to Gigi, our server, who was absolutely lovely — so warm, attentive, and really added to the experience.

Steak and chippy chips what more can you ask for. Oh wait unlimited chippy chips is what. Great tasting steaks to pair with unlimited chippy chips will definitely be back.
