Pastor B. is a very friendly and personable proprietor who served ribs tender enough to pull off easily with a plastic forks. He remembers your name and asks how the food is. The tri tip was tender as well and the Mac and cheese was a hit with me. The sauce is sweet and savory, blending well with the seasoned, tender meats. I will return to Hayward for this one.

I love the food! I love the people who work/own this place. Super friendly and they take care of you. Everything I’ve eaten here is amazing. I get the 4 meat combo for like 30 bucks and share that with about 3 ppl that includes myself. The BBQ and the desserts are so good. The fried fish is on point. Black Family-owned business. I love BBQ so thought I tried to spot, I live around the corner. Have driven past the many times but always had to pay whether or not I wanted to drop that much money for some barbecue. Oh when you realize you crave BBQ and there’s no other barbecue spot you get a little more curious so one day me and my boyfriend at the nerves and we went up there and we got some barbecue that I have to say it was delicious. I wish it wasn’t so expensive because I will be there every day but it’s definitely something I’m willing to invest in every two weeks because it was good. Love the music they were playing and you can smell their food from miles away so you can never say it’s not home cook.

My plate was absolutely delicious! I was closing my eyes praying to Jesus with gratitude for a blessed and well tasting meal, the potato salad definitely has a secret ingredient, and dessert was delicious! I’m looking forward to my next visit for prawns and the salt and pepper fish. The Chef is on point with the ingredients!

Excellent BBQ! I had the tri tip and chicken with mild sauce. It was very good. I am a mac and cheese lover and very picky about it. This was one of the best mac n cheeses that I’ve had. Just like a fresh homemade dish. The man who served us was also very friendly. Will definitely come back!

Really tasty ribs! The ribs I ordered were meaty, well seasoned, moist not dry. I was a pleasant experience eating the ribs. The potato salad did not disappoint. Again, well seasoned, good texture not mushy or undercooked. It’s a little different from the normal mayo-based potato salad but it is good. Last thing was the green beans. Again, very pleasantly surprised on how good it was.
Overall food is a hit. Only negative, I felt it was a little over priced at $18.99 for the dinner plate (4 ribs). I would like 5-6 bones at that price point. But I get it, I’d buy a full rack next time.
