When I tell you words just don’t do it justice I mean it.
You just can’t find this kind of atmosphere and flavor around anymore .
No matter what I’ve ordered on the menu, I have been blown away by the quality and affordability of the food and service.
Big shout out to barbecue Rick for throwing it down in the kitchen.

I stopped by this barbecue spot today, and let me tell you — everything was outstanding from start to finish. The macaroni and cheese was perfectly creamy, the green beans were full of flavor, and they even let me sample the corn poppers, which were absolutely delicious. I also tried the brisket, and it was tender, smoky, and packed with flavor.
For my main entrée, I had the breast and leg quarter (or breast and wing quarter), and it was cooked to perfection — smoked beautifully, juicy, and wonderfully seasoned. Their sweet tea tasted like it had a hint of lavender in it, and it was refreshing and perfectly balanced.
And the desserts? Unreal. I tried the strawberry cake, lemon cake, and cheesecake — every single one was delicious. The lemon cake was my personal favorite, hands down.
If you’re local or even just passing through the neighborhood, you should 100% stop by this place. Great food, great flavors, and a great experience all around. Highly recommended!

There are not very many places we love everything but here we did ! Service was awesome. The food was delicious
You have to stop by here! Best fried orka! Get the 3 meat plates and try it all. My favorite was the chicken, but it was all extremely good! Sweat tea is a must-have!!! The sweetest lady works up there

A friend was driving me through from IAH and this place showed up on Google maps. Sweet little place indoor seating with the BEST RIBS and brisket I have had. Great barbque sauce and sides. Fresh fried okra best potatoes salad and collard greens. 2 meat and 3 meat plates and too many choices for delicious deserts. We had banana bread Cake! Yummy. On the weekend they cook oxtails and Soul Foods. I’ll have to drive sn hour to come back but I WILL be back! Then we got a taste of the sausage

I knew it was going to be good the second I walked in and smelled the food coming from the back. Ms. Joyce (I believe this is her name, my ears weren’t working properly due to my focus being on the aroma of the bbq) was very nice and gave me a little rundown of the restaurant’s history.
The LOADED spud was very good, topped with very good brisket. Definitely worth the visit.

This place was the best food I’ve ever had hands down. I came on Sunday and they had the Soul Food menu and I got the pork chops. The flavor was amazing and they were so tender. The Mac and cheese was delicious. Greens were fantastic. Overall 10/10.
The lady who took the orders and made the food was so nice and talkative.

Fantastic BBQ! Brisket stuffed baked potato was extraordinary! And their roast chicken was GREAT! And am ordering a bone in ham for Thanksgiving. They also have full Thanksgiving meals with smoked or fried turkey. ADDED: Had to try the Root Beer Float and Banana Pudding Cake…. EXCELLENT. Tastes like homemade whipped cream to me! Worth the extra and definitely big enough to share!
