The fish and shrimp were magnificent. The mac and cheese does not need Italian seasoning. The yams were delicious. The restaurant is dark inside, but the food makes up for it.

Food was delicious! I usually travel 20 min south to get good soul food but this is was amazing! I wish more people found this place. The atmosphere was pretty empty as they’re a new place but I’m sure it’ll pop off this year. I got the 3 proteins (fish, shrimp, chicken), 2 sides (mac & cheese and collard greens). Everything was perfectly seasoned, the greens were some of the best greens I’ve had in a while however I wish the mac was a little cheesier but otherwise, no complaints! Definitely coming back and worth checking out!

Daddy’s from the French quarter and this is how you make real fried catfish and the fried cabbage was spiced just right ima try the rest of the menu but mostly because Im already knowing this place will be where I can get some of the southern staples I love and you will love them too if you know what good food taste like.
