Let me start off by saying that. I am a professional fisherman. A professional hunter and a professional outdoorsman and cook. I came across “just fish” at The Hartford jazzs festival over the weekend, starting on Friday through Saturday. I was very surprised that an operation like this was offed. I visited this truck 4 times between the 2 days. I attended the festival. The staff are super great. I was able to the owner he’s really a great guy, I asked them for a cup of ice and was willing to pay for it. And he gave it to me in the house. The fish, it’s super fresh, the owner, and I had a conversation about how his fish was caught and how he received it, very pleased with the answer. If you guys see this big, green bus and are in the mood of super fresh seafood, go visit this truck, I highly recommend this truck. The fish was cooked in clean oil, and it didn’t have an aftertaste. I really recommend visiting this operation. to the staff of Just Fish, even though you guys sell more than just fish. I truly appreciate everything that you guys did and are doing. Keep it up. I will see you again in the future.

Caught to the truck parking at Fishfry and Main St., Hartford. Figured, why not? Got the Whiting and fries with a couple slices of white bread. It was so dang good I wish I would’ve ate it in my car so I could’ve gotten another plate. Drove 25 miles home and was too full off $10 to go back. I’m ashamed I didn’t get my wife or son nothing. I swear I didn’t know it was going to be that good. Was offered potato salad which I declined, feel like a fool.

Impossible to believe such good food came out of a food truck, everything was good , shrimp well seasoned , fries were fresh and hot , server was busy but still made pushing orders out look easy.

No bueno, theres no flavor in the battered , and the shrimos were under cooked and slimy like if the shrimp were old, is not the best sea food , the Chinese seafood from the buffet has a lot more taste and is cheaper. Nice staff but no good food.

If you’re looking for a satisfying meal, this catfish and fries is it! The fish was freshly fried to perfection, seasoned beautifully, and had such a clean, delicious taste. The portions were massive, and the flavor was just incredible from start to finish. I’ll definitely be back for more!

Honestly love the premise of this place but the experience will leave you disappointed: You will have canceled orders due to items posted not actually being there (I ordered when they opened for anyone thinking they ran out) to orders with drinks being canceled And the drinks being sent anyway just to makes a buck. (It’s insulting) I’ve had to completely reorder meals (from actually reliable places) and pay services twice due to my order being canceled (no call to change order or sub items) and the processing hold on my card was longer than my lunch time. So if you like good juice with half ice in the cup for lunch and the idea of fried shrimp just a memory JUST FISH IS YOUR SPOT.

This is for the truck. I ate and left no crumbs! Couldn’t even take a photo because I couldn’t stop eating! Seasoning was on point! Best jumbo shrimp ever! Whiting was nicely done as well. Loved the fries too. Can’t speak for the other reviews but my experience was completely different and I will be a repeat customer!

I’ve seen the food truck plenty of times and finally stopped. Happy I did too. Got the Catfish and Shrimp plate. Both were delicious too. Fish and shrimp were seasoned (which was great being most places give you bland fish). Service was fast and friendly. Definitely going to make this a regular stop.
