First off they are very friendly. The business looks clean and organized.
I thought I’d try a local small business this year instead of a big box store for my granddaughter’s birthday. I have regrets now and it’s just a sad situation. The cake was rather simple for $45, the writing, I just can’t. It was a marble cake with a “garden theme” if throwing on 4 sunflowers is a garden theme…
Got everyone served cake and complaints of dryness and bits of it being chewy…a cake, chewy. Embarrassing!
The worst is, I was given a well overbaked cake that it was clearly visible it was going to be dry and possibly chewy in areas and that it looked too dark and thus, overbaked.
You can see the over baking when you sliced it. All the cake pieces have a brown crusty layer between the inside of the cake and the buttercream.
The cake is not fluffy. It’s dense and dry, Flavors are muted.
I wish I could give a great review, but I just can’t with this. I will not be using this business again. Sorry.

Wendy made this cake for our 50th wedding anniversary with only my request for red roses and white frosting.
She had no picture or photo of our wedding cake. This was almost identical just smaller, making our celebration even more special. …and so very delicious!!!
Her baking and creative talents are amazing!! Strongly recommend this bakery and candy shop.

If you want a walk down memory lane stop in for some “Arnold’s Candy” treats! Plus Wendy’s own recipe candy, cake balls, Dubai chocolate. Omg, delicious! I ordered my husband a strawberry cake for his birthday, strawberry being his favorite and no one else liking that flavor. Well, everyone ended up enjoying it. Best cake we have ever had by far! The coconut cream pie is to die for as well! You definitely won repeat customers! Keep up the great work!
