Let me start by saying: Just Baked makes the best cakes I have ever tasted in my life — truly unmatched. My husband would wholeheartedly agree! Before we got married, we stopped by to sample a few of their baked goods, and from that moment on, we knew our wedding cake had to be from Just Baked.
The quality, flavor, and value are exceptional. We ordered a smaller “personal cake” for ourselves and for cake-cutting photos, and my only regret is not hiring a professional cake-cutting service and ordering an even bigger cake so every guest could experience how incredible it was.
And it’s not just the cake — their cookies, brownies, and macarons are every bit as delicious. We genuinely haven’t found anything there that isn’t amazing. We loved and found it was so thoughtful that a box of baked goods with cute notes from the Just Baked staff was left in my bridal suite at the end of the night to ensure we got to try everything!
Whenever we’re in Paso Robles, stopping by Just Baked is an absolute must. If you’re considering them—don’t hesitate. You’ll be obsessed just like we are!

Unbelievable! I am celiac, and they have a wonderful variety of gluten free items in addition to regular items. My husband said the cinnamon roll has changed his life. But the cookies and cupcakes are off the hook as well. They do beautiful wedding cakes. And it’s so fun and festive in the bakery. Highly recommend!

They do make really good cookies (flagship is my fav), but I bought a blueberry French toast bake for Christmas morning and it was disgusting. Not a single person ate it. We threw the whole thing away, and it wasn’t cheap. We picked it up Christmas Eve morning and it was supposed to be fresh. Definitely would not get again. The girls are not very friendly. The place is always decorated amazingly, but putting on makeup doesn’t cover an ugly soul/business model. So now to find out where they stand ethically, I’ll have a hard time supporting them further.

Sorry, don’t see why this place has high reviews. It’s an average bakery with tacky decor. We ordered an apple turnover and quiche, they asked if we wanted it heated, which we did, and they microwaved it. You should never microwave pastry or bread unless you want it rubbery and tough. So, not surprisingly the items were rubbery and tough. The quiche was salty and the apple turnover had way too much sugar on top.

We LOVE Just Baked!! Their flagship chocolate chip is INSANE!! We often pop in while walking downtown for a treat and love that they now have more savory breakfast pastry options as well as delicious coffee. We recently had them do the desserts for our son’s 1st birthday and were thrilled with how everything turned out. We trust Libby and her team and gave them full creative freedom (outside of sharing the theme) and the desserts turned out better than I expected! There was not a single treat left at the end of the party!! We will happily be ordering from here again for life events!

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Just Baked for several weddings, and they consistently deliver. Their attention to detail is incredible, the cakes are true masterpieces, and the dessert bars are next level with great variety and thoughtful options for dietary restrictions. Everything is beautifully elevated and genuinely delicious. And the flagship cookie is my personal favorite.

Flour power! A festive little bakery shop in downtown Paso that delivers classic treats along with some trendy creations.
I had the Cruffin, a frosting-packed croissant-based muffin. It has a caloric value equal to that of 3 full square meals, I assume. So indulgent but worth it, though.
The part that impressed me was how balanced it was. Don’t get me wrong, this cruffin is dessert. But it could have been a straight up sugar bomb, and it was not.
Can’t wait to go back!

Try the ham and Brie tart.
Discovered and fell in love with this place a couple years ago on vacation. We ended up going back every day we were in town.
My wife likes their seasonal gingerbread so much I drove 3 hours from down by L.A. to get some as a surprise for her birthday. Worth it!
