Searched the web for great wing spot and this place popped up so we decided to grab a quick lunch. We ordered both the Honey Krack wings & lemon pepper wings, Jerk & curry empanadas plus the fish & chips. The house sauce served with the fish was AMAZING! All of the Food was full of flavor! Looks like we have a new spot for lunch & dinner! We recommend this place 10 out of 10 you should try it!

10/10 highly recommend!! I got the twisted chopped salmon sub with sweet potato fries and as soon as I took one bite that was it. By the time I remembered to take a picture the food was gone. I will definitely be going back!

I’ve been here a few times. I’m slowly trying navigating their menus. First, the hospitality in this restaurant establishment is A+ and it has been consistent. You can tell the chef takes great pride in the food and the business. Another plus for that. I’m liking the food so far. The banana pudding is really good in my opinion. They cater to several dietary requirements yet another plus. Simply go and try it out.

I had such a great experience here! The oyster mushrooms were seasoned perfectly, and everything I ordered was absolutely delicious including the Sea Moss Lemonade. The customer service was even better. This is a great local business and I’ll definitely be a regular from now on!

Support local businesses!!!! Growing up in the southend of hartford we dont have much cuisine of this nature, and as a first timer at this restaurant I can truly say this was a 5 star experience. The chicken chopped cheese is a must try, you can tell it is made with a chef’s touch, with a delectable flavor profile. The fried rice stands against the best in the hartford area, and the jerk and cheese empanada was delicious. All the food was prepared quickly but with no sacrifice to quality. The woman at the front register and the chef were so welcoming and appreciative and came out to personally thank us for our business, but the pleasure is all mine! Will certainly be back soon and recommending to friends.

Drove from Tolland to try the food and I was not disappointed at all. I got the honey krack wings and vegetable fried rice and it was amazing. I will be back to slowly try everything on the menu. This place is a gem. Don ‘t walk RUN to get you some.

I tried the sweet potato fries, and they are by far my favorite fries now. Super affordable. The staff is always cordial and kind. They have some really good beverage selections.

My wife and I stayed in Hartford for five days, and on our way to the airport back to Denver, we happened to stop by Just a Twist by chance. It turned out to be the best meal we had during our entire trip! The food was absolutely delicious, and the owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The next time we’re in the Hartford area, we’ll definitely make it a point to visit Just a Twist again.
