We just moved here, and seeing the hit and miss reviews delayed visiting. However, we had an excellent experience. This is a small town and the only sit down restaurant in town as far as I know so expect a crowd. Especially at lunch! There was no seating when we stopped in on a Monday. We ended up carrying out and going home. The food was ready in 15 minutes and it was delicious! The fried tenderloin plate was so big I could barely finish it and very well seasoned. The prices I thought were a little high, but for the size of the plates it isn’t bad.

The place was packed on a Wednesday evening and we thought that showed it was a good place to eat. Maybe the case if you weren’t from out of town, and they’d have had adequate staff. Our drinks got refilled only if I went to the bar to ask. Our food took forever and the other people that came after us, got their food before us. The steaks were probably good before someone put to much Lawrys on them. It’s a good thing they treat the locals well, because if they relied on “outsiders”, they’d be in trouble.

We came into town for a ballgame and had some extra time so we decided to eat here instead of concession stand food again. We are so glad we did! The food was delicious and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Next time we are in the area we will definitely be back.

Food good ,lots of it, price reasonable, draw back after putting our order in we waited over an hour to be served. Everybody was getting very restless. Many of us ordered special of the day and that still took 1hour

Breakfast normally flavorful, poor sad service, drink refills require going to bar & asking. The owner / manager?? sets at bar chewing his kids asses out while the only people listening are the customers, kids / staff just set with their faces buried in their phones. The place needs help!

Honest and traditional food with a small town vibe. Couldn’t ask for anything else. It was great seeing class reunion pictures on the wall while I ate my ginormous breakfast! I left with a full belly along with a full wallet.

Was there with a group of people. The waitress took our orders right away and for as many as there were they got our food to us correctly in a very timely manner. Everyone said it was very good.

We were in Montezuma for an event at the school, they were definitely understaffed at this restaurant. We got there at 11 a.m. and didn’t get out of there till close to 1 p.m. probably the thing that bothered me the most was the delivery of food, one of the wait staff handed everyone their glasses by holding them by the the rims to deliver them to the table and her thumb was often on the plate into the food.
