There were only three customers in the restaurant, but we still waited 30mins. The waiters were also very unprofessional. Dishes that had run out weren’t replenished in advance, they only started heating them up after customers ordered, and the reheating itself was very slow, taking about 20 minutes.
The rice noodles were either all broken or not fully cooked. I honestly have no idea how this place got a 4.6 rating.

They didn’t have the rice noodles at the time I went which was 2pm way after they open. Also the portion size is small for the money. Atleast my bowl was very less. My friends bowl was bigger. Taste wise good!

Like that I can create my own food especially I can choose the noodle out of 3 kinds.
I personally like the knife noodle(?).
But I wish they describe more about the sauces and I can choose them too.
Oh and I loooooove the spicy sauce!! It is sooooo good. You have to ask the casher about it.

The food was amazing here, especially the braised beef shank! The noodles were cooked perfectly and I love their want for attention to detail in presentation and service. The staff were very friendly and provided suggestions or recommendations. For a franchise, this place is a fresh breath of air for Blacksburg. I would say the only suggestion I had was portioning. If I was paying extra for a premium meat, I would hope for more than 4 pieces of meat. Additionally, in one of my bowls, I was given a single piece of bok choy. All things considered, I understand they are still new and experimenting their menu, this is a good start!

I was visiting a friend from out of town, and she insisted we stop by Junzi for lunch—and I’m so glad she did! There was a slight hiccup when we realized they had adjusted their summer hours to open at noon, but it wasn’t a big deal. The food was absolutely delicious and more than made up for the wait.

As soon as the doors opened, the place filled up quickly—a clear sign of how popular it is. The menu offered plenty of great options, and everything was very reasonably priced. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and craving something fresh and flavorful!

This place was so nice! The staff is very friendly and the food was good and surprisingly quite healthy. The prices are affordable, and the atmosphere is clean, modern, and fun. The decor is also cute and has a bright vibe.

Food is amazing and staff are extremely friendly as well. My mom and I were visiting the area and we met the owner, who gave us free drinks and we had a lovely conversation. Great portion sizes for affordable price, extremely authentic with amazing flavor. Their tea selection is not overly sweet and very refreshing. Great experience and will be coming back!

Note: All the following problems from the original review below seem to have been fixed. I am amazed at how well this business is managed.

When I ate here, there were 2 main things that disappointed me:
1. The spicy sesame sauce left a very strong and lingering bitter aftertaste
2. The portions are small but prices are very high
Otherwise, the taste excluding the aftertaste was just fine, and selection is nice.

Edit: I had the Sour and Spicy noodles today, and they were pretty good. It seems that the bitter aftertaste problem is isolated to the spicy sesame sauce. Additionally, I really liked the response to my review. I have a lot of respect for businesses that take feedback seriously.

Loved the healthy version of noodles. It was so yummy, especially the firecracker chicken. The portions are great. They have good tea. Would recommend.

I grew up in Taiwan and it is so hard to find food that feels like it compares, especially Beef Noodle Soup. This is the best place for Beef Noodle soup (make sure you get the knife cut noodles) I’ve had in the US, it smells like home the minute you walk in! Plus it has one of the best tea places in Blacksburg just next door!
