Food and service was fantastic! I can tell there’s a lot of thought, experience, and some creativity behind the menu and the recipes. Their plating is gorgeous and the food is delicious. Highly recommend the Jun roll and the house salad. The patio seating is lovely in the summer.

Good service, although they seemed understaffed. Great food and it came out quickly. I ordered an avocado roll and the veggie tempura roll which is pictured. I’m like pretty sure it isn’t crab sauce on it but I didn’t want to ask bc I’m vegetarian and if I don’t know, than it doesn’t count lol. Total was 24 dollars b4 tip. Will come again

Tastiest sushi in Bellingham, hands down. It’s always fresh, with lots of veggies. And yet I don’t know if I’ll be returning because every time I order takeout, the owner tells me it’ll be ready in 35 or 40 minutes. I get there over an hour past the time I ordered, knowing my order will be late, and the owner asks me to wait 5 minutes while they prepare the food. It’d be OK with me if they told me to come in an hour or an hour and a half. I just want a better idea of when it will be ready. And I can’t communicate this to the staff because we don’t understand each others’ languages. The same goes if I want to change the ingredients on my order a little—can’t get my request across because the English isn’t understood and I don’t speak Japanese, unfortunately. It’d be awesome if they could maybe hire someone to work the register who was fluent in English.

Had a really bad experience here. Our food came out in stages, where one person in our party of four didn’t eat until almost everyone else was finished. The owner was yelling at the server (really loud) because of some error that happened. I ordered the Ramen and it was NOT actual ramen – pre-made noodles (think out of a ramen package) and really salty. We gave this place a shot but won’t be returning.

Don’t eat here. Terrible food. Terrible customer service. I made an attempt to eat one bite of my baked scallop roll even though it looked like vomit. Then sat there for 20 minutes during which time no one checked to see if I liked my food. When the waiter finally came out I had to flag them down despite being the only customers. He made no comment about how I had hardly touched my food then charged me full price for the meal. When I confronted them about how they should refund me for the uneaten food they said no. We paid $55 and only ate one roll and an appetizer. Would never go here again. A good restaurant understands that customer satisfaction DOES matter. But this place has demonstrated clearly that they don’t stand by the quality of their offerings.
