DO NOT ORDER ONLINE. I thought I’d treat myself to some good protein after a hike, and I even sat in my car and waited 15 minutes to give them time according to the online checkout ETA (they don’t have a website, it’s only DoorDash Pickup – see photos). They never confirmed the order, but it did charge my card. I finally went in and they don’t even check their phone app thing for pickup orders. They asked me to cancel my order and re-enter it in their screen because DoorDash keeps 50% of the profit or whatever. ((Umm, how about I cancel my order and go make myself a burger at home instead?)) I was NOT about to call DD customer service and go through 20 minutes of cancellation runaround when my card was already charged and this was literally their only online order platform – it’s entirely their own doing. Eventually they agreed to make my order, and were kind enough to give me a miso soup while I waited. They didn’t need me to repeat my order, so they had the data, they just don’t know how to navigate DD (not all restaurants have pickup as a DD option and I told them they should contact DD to disable it if they don’t want people to use it). If they had their own website, I would have used that, I would rather pay a business directly every time, and I also hate DD with a passion.
The food was delicious, the gyoza was crispy and the sushi and seaweed salad (though small on the salad) were quite lovely. It’s too bad that I’m never going back here simply because I don’t usually dine-in and I don’t order delivery.
My advice to the business would be to get your own website and set up your own online ordering system (even if it’s just call-ins from an online menu PDF – I would have gladly done that instead!! But I don’t even know what’s on your menu to do that because there’s no website), and make sure the website is on your Google listing so that you can have 100% of your pickup order profits without DoorDash parasitizing it, and the prices will always be accurate. You’re needlessly sabotaging your own business by turning takeout ordering into a nightmare. Wish I could give you more money but there’s a lot more sushi out there to try and I don’t need this headache!! Having to write this review to warn others while eating the food I had to fight for, leaves me with….a pretty sour taste in my mouth, metaphorically.
If you’re dining in though, you won’t have a problem, and you’ll have a pleasant experience. Culinarily, they seem to know what they’re doing.

Small size restaurant. But so fresh and delicious all foods.
So friendly service too

Came for the high rating, but was a little disappointed. The very small dining area (6-8 tables) was cramped with lots of to go orders coming through. Maybe patio dining in nicer weather is better? Reasonable prices and good portions on the nigiri, but the chefs selection was pretty basic.

Literally one of my favourite Bellingham restaurants. The owner Jun, runs it with his family and you can see how hard he works in his amazing food. The space is small so keep that in mind for bigger groups, but it’s cosy and calmingly comfortable. The food is not only delicious but beautiful and picture worthy. The service is fast and great. Pricing was affordable for a nice dinner out without being wallet breaking. Overall 10/10

BEST sushi i have tried my whole life, I usually am picky and hope for the best when having sushi usually disappointed , but this sushi was so INCREDIBLY good, savory and actually perfect. 100000/10 I am going to go back tomorrow!! This is a small business with a great variety in their menu, if you are debating what place to try it’s this one!!! Jay and Charlie are the sweetest and so kind. Like I said I usually am picky with sushi and this one blew my mind, the california Roll with added crispys and the deep fried Cali Roll was SO INCREDIBLY GOOD.
ALSO SO AFFORDABLE!!!!!!!

This is my favorite sushi spot in Bellingham. It’s delicious. I almost always get the shrimp tempura appetizer, hot fire roll, and the super dragon roll. The service is 10/10, the owner is very nice and welcoming, and the sushi looks as good as it tastes. Highly recommend!

Jun sushi is literally the best. I love them so much, every time I get sushi anywhere else I’m sad it’s not here. Their rolls are huge and delicious, everything is always fresh!
Their yummy yummy rolls is so ridiculously tasty. The name makes me feel silly, but I can’t not order it now. I’ve got my roommates in love with it too now, so we have to get a few rolls each time. I hate shrimp, and I still love that roll. And the sauce! Amazing.
The price for these things too, the tuna special is one huge California roll and one huge spicy tuna roll. All for $12. It’s such a good price for so much delicious food.
Even talking about their sushi… I think I might get some for lunch today!

Jun’s has been our favorite sushi in Bellingham for many years. The quality and love put into all the delicious food he creates always feeds our soul as well as our appetite. The only issue we’ve had is sometimes he can’t keep up with everyone who wants to enjoy his culinary delights and we’ve watched him turn away people because of the wait. If that has been your reason to write off Jun’s sushi, I suggest you give them another try. Jun has retired and his nephew and his nephew’s wife, Charlie and Jae, have taken over. The sushi would make Jun proud and they are dedicated to improving the problem areas, especially wait times. Do yourself and your stomach a favor and give them another shot!!!

Reviews of this place are spot on. My husband and daughter both got the bento box and I had two rolls, the Caterpillar and Hawaiian, pictured with my review. They both loved their boxes and I really loved my rolls too. This small establishment is worth seeking out!

Excellent gourmet sushi. We tried special rolls: White Dragon, Scallop Baked Roll, Jun’s Special Roll, Catapillar Roll, and Tiger Roll.
All delicious but especially the first three. We also enjoyed the tempura.
Jun makes everything to order.
It wasn’t a quick visit, but it was definitely worth the wait and price.
This restaurant is fairly small, located on Railroad, which has plenty of paid parking meters. (I use a parking app, which is very easy to use. Look for the sign that gives a location code.)
Overall, my #1 sushi place in Bellingham. If you like scallops, try the Baked Scallop Roll. Yummy… Previously, I did a take out order. Marvelous!
