I am writing to provide feedback on my recent dining experience at your restaurant. Unfortunately, the quality of the meal did not meet my expectations or reflect the pricing.
While the dessert was very good, the rest of the meal was disappointing. Specifically, the tomahawk steak was not up to standard.
I do not plan on returning and would not recommend the restaurant to others based on this experience.

We love Juniper. It has become a go to for us for birthdays, celebrations, and special occasions. New Year’s Day is mine and my husbands anniversary and like last year, we came here for dinner. We had Daisy this past visit, and she was excellent. She was friendly, attentive, but also gave us our space when appropriate and although I was afraid we were going to be rushed, we were not in any way. Food and drinks were, as always, on point. I have to say, that the bartenders at Juniper make a very good dirty martini. I’ve never had a bad one there. And the wine list has lots of very good options. Juniper is a consistently good and a reliable option if you want a nice dinner in a nice environment. You almost forget you’re in a casino-until someone wins big lol. But that has never been a distraction for us.
We spoke with Daisy quite a bit and she mentioned that she was going on a road trip when her shift was over. We were her last table, and again, even though she had plans, she never once made us feel like we were holding her back. We wanted to finish our bottle of wine and she was very gracious in letting us just be, but we asked for our check so she could finish her work and go without worrying about us. Daisy offered to pack up our leftovers and also offered us a dessert to go for our anniversary. It was a very nice gesture. And the chocolate torte was delicious! Thank you Daisy! We hope you had a wonderful trip!
Our daughter has a big birthday coming up next month (21!!) and we’ve already made plans to bring her here to celebrate. Thank you Juniper for always treating us well, we’ll see you soon!

Well I normally don’t say much negative about a place but this one started out bad. Waited about 10 minutes before the waiter came to speak to me here. It was not busy. Ordered the calamari for an appetizer. I’d give it a 1/10. Probably the greasiest calamari I’ve had but somehow had no flavor. Brussels sprouts were fried so much that only 3 were whole. The rest was like eating fried confetti. The saving grace was that the New York strip was cooked to the correct temperature, medium. It was very well seasoned and the wine demiglaze was great. Baked potato was decent. I like a great steak so I gave them a 4. Service was good after the initial wait. It was pricey for the quality of appetizers and sides. Steak was well priced.

Juniper’s bar is elite. Daneille gave incredible service and nailed every recommendation—attentive, friendly, and on point the whole time. Ana Marie makes absolute killer cocktails, and her martini was hands-down the best I’ve had in years.

Juniper Steakhouse -> This place is fire. Amazing food, outstanding service, ambiance is fantastic. The food is amazing. My wife and I enjoyed the queen prime and the Avocado Tempura Amazing. Deep fried avocado with a crunch shell OMG . The slow roasted prime rib queen, to die for – Lord have mercy. This place is amazing . My wife and I absolutely love it. We cannot wait to be back. Everyone must have a Hazelnut Toffee Martini

Was staying in the hotel for a work retreat and had dinner in the bar tonight. The prime rib was excellent and the atmosphere was GREAT! Very upscale but so friendly! It was obvious the bar staff knew a lot of the regulars and they treated me like they’d known me forever. Danielle and Annamarie were so friendly and engaging it made my night! I’m kind of local so I’ll definitely make the trip to Bernalillo to come back!

First I want to say great service at the bar, I believe her name was Brenda amazing service and very friendly. Ordered my steak medium and was more on medium well, steak was tough and only pink in the center. The outside was very crispy and some bites were burnt to taste, no wonder they put the wine sauce to cover the charred ends. Had calamari as a appetizer and was delicious. The Brussel Sprouts and Mushrooms were also delicious. For the price of everything should have enjoyed it more but I didnt enjoy my tough steak. Only giving 2 stars for food cause appetizers and sides were good.

We visited for our anniversary dinner. Food was outstanding, my New York steak was cooked well and very tender. My wife selected the special, Filet Mignon Oscar, she loved it. Our service was good, however, I had to request water refills over and over. My preference would have been a little more attention and proactive refills. Also, we indicated we were celebrating our anniversary. Our server asked us what anniversary we were celebrating, we replied, and that was it, never offered anything special, which has been my experience at other restaurants. All in all, a good dinner, although it could have been memorable.

My husband and I came here for our wedding anniversary. We had a wonderful experience. I don’t drink, and our server Alex recommended a great mocktail for me. Dinner was excellent. I had the filet mignon. The flavor was amazing and the meat was perfectly tender. We loved the Brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes. The creme brulee was a delicious finish to the meal. Alex was attentive throughout. We’ll be back for sure.

My husband’s Birthday was yesterday and we had a divine dinner ️ and impeccable service from our waiter Alex, we also had a cocktail in the bar and Annie is extremely comfortable with customers and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thanks for the excellent food and service! The Seafood Bisque and Prime Rib are delicious!
