I rolled up to Grove Roots today and approached Juniper Food Truck like a man who’s been hurt before. “Philly Gyro?” I thought. “Corned Beef Egg Rolls? What kind of beautiful madness is this?”
Reader, it was glorious. The Philly Gyro tasted like Philly took a vacation in Santorini and never came back. A glorious cross-cultural handshake between Philadelphia and Athens. And the Corned Beef Egg Rolls? Somewhere, a deli and a dim sum house just had a perfect little food baby and an Irish grandma and a Chinese chef just high-fived.
Every bite screamed “trust issues resolved,” remember my review of World Famous Eggrolls!?!? By the end, I was considering selling my belongings to follow this truck across the state, take a nap, applaud, or propose marriage to whoever’s behind that grill. Juniper Foods isn’t just a food truck — it’s a therapy session in a paper basket.

Anytime I see Juniper food truck set up I make it a point to stop by! The meatballs and rice are my personal favorite but you can’t go wrong with any of the food they make. Madison and Michael take a lot of pride in their food and it shows! Not to mention all the healthy options and homegrown ingredients! 10/10 recommend!
