My partner and i have eaten at junebugs twice so far. Our first time the food was pretty good, my bf enjoyed his hamburger steak so much that he got a 2nd one, i ended up getting a 2nd tomato soup because it was also good. Our 2nd time was much much more disappointing. I ordered the jb burger and it had wayyyyyy too much pepper on it, like so much pepper that my mouth was burning as i was eating it and i couldnt finish it. My bfs hamburger steak also was heavy on the pepper but he was at least able to look past it. My burger was basically inedible, as it was an over peppered bubba burger on a sweet bun with a sad peice of lettuce, flavorless tomato, unmelted cheese, and was also missing the bacon. i just tried overlooking it because there wasnt much on the menu i wouldve liked to replace it and our server was new so i dodnt want to stress her out. I also got a baked potato and it was very hard and small, i also got it loaded and there wasnt very many toppings on it. The side ceaser salad was nothing to rave about as it seemed like bottled ceasar dressing and bagged croutons. The servers were all kind and helpful both times we went and the loaded chips were good both times we went, this time they were out of queso as well as the other appetizers we wanted which they were out of last time as well. We were told it was because we came after dinner rush but we can go to any other restaurant and order off the menu no problem after dinner rush. Last time it was because the wrong truck came. Id like to return as its a reletively affordable place to eat thats close to home but this isnt to quality of meals id expect for the price and reputation. My bf ordered the redfish with his hamburger steaks because the portions are also very small, and everything on that plate was oversalted as well. It was just a bad experience, i hope they can fix whatever is going on with their food quality and truck and maybe next time we visit will be better experience. The bill was $78 for my half eaten meal, my bfs 2 meals that he left half of one (not from being full, he will slam the 16oz ribeye and redfish with cream sauce from landmark in one sitting) and 1 appetizer. Thats too much money spent to be left dissatisfied. I have faith it will improve tho.

Honestly a great place to grab a sandwich and some acaii.
I grabbed a Reuben with a side salad and was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the food.
If you’re in the mood for McAllister’s, you’re way better off stopping by here.
Sandwich was an authentic Reuben, no corners cut with thought put into its preparation(real Russian dressing and the sauerkraut had not made the sandwich soggy)
Give it a shot, as a lover of sandwiches, I’ve found a new favorite spot.

“5/5 stars for Junebug’s!Excellent food and top-notch service in a great environment. Most importantly for me, it’s highly accessible for big rigs. It’s rare to find a place that balances high-quality dining with the convenience of truck-friendly parking. I’ll be back!”.
