It’s your typical small corner bar until you go out back. That is where the live music is and don’t forget to bring your own chair. The music was a band called Sundries and they were excellent. There’s a $10 cover charge but it’s worth it. It covers the live music and all you can eat grilled hot dogs, hamburgers, sausage & peppers, salads, etc…everything was delicious.
The only downside for me was because it’s outside they didn’t have a designated smoking area, or if they did no one was abiding by it, so I didn’t appreciate the smoke from cigarettes or vape pens.

It’s sad to say, I loved this place… the one older, blonde bartender ruined it for me. I had been drinking but my boyfriend hadn’t been drinking and she took my keys…. not just my car key….MY HOUSE KEYS. She refused to give them back and we argued. She got so angry, that She pushed me so hard and I fell to the ground and she made it seem like I was the problem. I will never go back to this bar. Some of the employees are great but some are DEFINITELY not.

If I could leave zero stars I would, only for one employee , Frank. Frank deliberately condescending , will comment on you appearance as a customer, and over all extremely disrespectful. He is drunk half the time and will throw your debit card at you after you pay like a dog. Teresa and Kevin are wonderful. They are great employees, they offer suggestions and recommendations. I’ve enjoyed going to this bar for years, but if frank is working , there’s always an issue.

Great local bar. Friendly bartendress Donna sold me on a delicious new mixed drink from a local distillery. Yum!
Nice outside area to smoke, play corn hole or horse shoes. Almost don’t want to leave such a good review.. Gotta keep this place a
Neighborhood gem! ❤️

I’ve had several experiences where the older male cashier has been rude or unhelpful. This has unfortunately deterred me from visiting the store as often as I used to.

I kinda like that place, there are very few dive bars left in this area. But they are still here. Its good for me, I can take the bus there and back all in one hour if I wanted to. You can remain anonymous if you choose. Or interact with other customers who are mostly in the trades, of which I can mostly relate.

Rude staff member threw change at me. I go to junction liquor store several times a week for beer. The female cashier and younger male cashier are very nice. The older male cashier with glasses is always rude. He never says hello or thank you even when I greet him kindly everytime. The past few times I’ve dealt with him checking me out, he’s thrown the change at my hand. I’ve been a Belford resident for years and anytime I go for beer and see this cashier outside smoking, it makes me want to turn around and go over to the Foodtown liquor store instead.

Great old school bar where you can just hangout with friends and have a good time. If you want to go outside and drink, chat and possibly smoke a cig while taking to your friends and listening to good music this is the place.
