The Junction Bar and Grill at the corner of Hwys 1 and 65 by Cook was one of our stops for lunch on our 3 day snowmobile trip to the Bigfork / Marcell / Cook / Effie area for our party of 7. The food and hospitality was great! Please remember – this kind of place is way out in the middle of nowhere so they obviously can’t have 6 people on duty waiting all day in the middle of the week for maybe a couple groups of snowmobilers to stop in, so it takes some time for a limited staff to get your food prepared, but it was definitely worth the very reasonable wait. They do a tremendous service being open in the middle of the week. The owner was great and his one kitchen guy showed us how much we were appreciated. Would highly recommend this place if you are in the area!

I cant say enough about the owners, they are incredible! We had a sled breakdown and the owners went above and beyond and way out of their way. They loaded our sled up on his trailer and gave us a ride all the way back to Grand Rapids. They saved our trip and we are very greatful. We will make the Junction Bar and Grill our new regular stop for snowmobile trips!

We waited for over an hour for our mediocre food when there were perhaps 10 people in the bar/restaurant. Also, 2 in our party had to go home after eating because they felt sick to their stomachs. We will never come back. If I could give negative stars, I would. It used to be good, but has gone down hill.

They were so busy and under staffed for a. Friday night. Fish fry plus the meat raffle. I like listening to the guitar singer and eating. Best fish fry ever.

We haven’t had fries or onion rings this good in a long time, fish sandwich was so good. Nice to go out to eat and be happy with what we get, decent prices, good service, quiet atmosphere and tasty food!

This is a great place to stop and eat. We had the their cheeseburgers and they were wonderful. The fries are great too. Don’t think twice when you see this place. You won’t be disappointed.

We were up north for a weekend and found ourselves here two nights in a row for dinner. The food is excellent! Burgers are large and the fries are good. The caesar salad is served in a taco bowl. Our bartender Saturday was great! There was live music Friday which was fun.
