I’m glad I googled gumbo spots in the area this spot has potential the Gumbo roux was okay it was missing the Creole season earthy, smoky, midly spicy flavor part.
My favorite was the chopped cheese and the seasoned fries OMG that was good. I wish I was able to try the banana pudding but it was sold out.
The service was great the young lady was awsome great personality and the chef she was wonderful.

Everything is amazing! The Jambalaya which is her bread and butter the best and probably closest you’ll get to Creole Jambalaya. Actually just came back from New Orleans, and I like this one better. Hot honey wings… fire!!! Chopped cheese.. might as well been in NY. This place may be new, but I promise you you will hear about it down the road! A must try!

Jumpin Jambalaya provided breakfast and lunch catering for our 100+ person event on campus. The owner created a tasty menu just for our event, carefully addressing multiple dietary restrictions and our team’s requests. The food was delicious, and the setup was beautiful! Our attendees were really happy with the food served. The owner and her staff were extremely helpful and were a joy to work with. Highly recommend!!

I was able to finally try it today for the first time and to say the least I’m happy I did. I got the jambalaya which was so full of flavor and you get alot for the price so it’s definitely worth it as well as delicious. The second thing I tried was the banana pudding it hit the spot and was made to perfection. The owner was very pleasant as well as the staff. I’ll be back to try other out other food items on the menu.

Had the jambalaya at the festival this weekend and it was AMAZING. I asked someone where they got their food after smelling the deliciousness. The shrimp were my favorite.

This is a new place for us to check out. It was our first visit to Jumpin Jambalaya. It is take out only but so worth it. The food was amazing! I loved that it was not too spicy but you could add your own heat to your liking. However, it would be nice to have a choice of what type of rice to add to the Jambalaya. We will definitely be back!

We recently hired Jumpin Jambalaya to cater for a conference lunch and the service was outstanding from start to finish. The owner worked closely with us to offer flexible options that would satisfy a range of dietary preferences, and they were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the planning process.
The food arrived right on time and exceeded all expectations; it blew us away! It was flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. Conference attendees raved about it in our conference feedback and several requested leftovers to-go.
I’ll admit that I was initially apprehensive. Jambalaya and Cajun cuisine can feel like a niche choice for feeding a large group, and I was concerned about accommodating various dietary needs. But I’m SO glad we took the chance!
Highly recommend Jumpin Jambalaya. Delicious food, exceptional service, and a team that truly understands how to take care of a crowd.

Jumpin Jambalaya has been AMAZING for my company’s catering needs. Valentine is so kind, flexible, and accommodating and I can’t wait to work with her again. Her team is also so sweet and helpful. I’ve used them a few times for catering and ordered individual meals from them as well and every time I am happy. You CANNOT skip dessert here. The pecan pies and especially the banana pudding are to die for. Like for real. Thank you Jumpin Jambalaya!!!!

Let me start off by I ordered enough for multiple people! So they do have earlts that are reasonable 8-10 dollars! I got the jambalaya, shrimp po’boy, chopped cheese, mini pecan pies, and a fruit cup!!
The fruit was all fresh and seasonally appropriate blueberries, peaches, watermelon, grapes.
The jambalaya was really good if you like a little kick it’s perfect and even the fish for one is going to fill you up!
The chopped cheese also was really good! Comes with fries perfect for a grab and go that’s not going to be too heavy but definitely will hold you over!
Shrimp Po boy was tasty on the hoagie roll another great grab and go!
The restaurant is located inside of High line CC so there is plenty of seating inside or out if it’s noce out you can even go out and sit in the grass! The owner is very professional and friendly. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure the campus and everybody who visits is satisfied!
