My husband and I had a wonderful date night at Jumbo Thai. We were pleased we were able to get a same‑day reservation. We ordered the cashew stir‑fry, tender Massaman beef curry, flower pork mince dumplings, wagyu beef & sweet potato curry puffs, satay skewers, rice and roti. Every dish was full of flavour and beautifully cooked and presented. We also enjoyed the atmosphere with the wooden arched windows, decor and artwork.

Great service, delicious food, and a perfect spot for Thai cuisine in the city. Highly recommend!

A hidden gem tucked away on level 1 of the Embassy Chamber’s building on Elizabeth Street, this Thai restaurant serves up some great food. The decor of the place is good. The mixture of large groups and tables for two creates a lively but not too noisy atmosphere. The food is great, mixing traditional Thai classics with a mixture of new and inventive dishes. Definitely worth the trip up one flight of stairs (or the lift if you’re feeling tired)!

Food was nice and delicious. Especially Pha thai was good. Staffs were friendly. Busy restaurant, reservation recommended especially on the weekend.

A pretty and hidden restaurant! Almost gourmet lunch. Reasonable portions. Slightly overpriced but special ingredients like pea eggplants and lichees justified that. I can only see one waitress and she provided good service.

The restaurant is located on the second floor, it has a good vibet. The food was good. Red duck curry was a bit too spicy for us but the rest of the dishes were nice.

Delicious food and friendly staff. A beautiful dining room although very loud and hard to hear ourselves. We had the Pad Thai, Pad See Ew and the Prawn & ginger dumplings. The dumplings had the most beautiful ginger flavour throughout and were cooked really nicely with a delicious sauce. The two noodle dishes were packed full of flavour and fresh ingredients. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I got a tickle in my throat and requested room temp water to soothe it and the waitress accommodated my request, even remembering later in the evening when she refilled our water. A lovely experience.

I absolutely love this restaurant — it’s one of my all-time favorites!

The satay chicken skewers are tender and flavourful, a perfect way to start the meal. The red curry is a standout dish: rich, aromatic, and beautifully balanced. I especially love the duck paired with the spicy curry and sweet pineapple — it’s a go-to dish that never disappoints.

The fried rice with chicken is good. I’d love it if it had a bit more depth of flavour to really make it shine.

The ambiance is always stunning, with a beautifully decorated space that enhances the dining experience. That said, it can get quite loud during corporate events or larger gatherings, so keep that in mind if you’re after a quieter evening.

Regardless, I’ll always be a loyal customer and can’t wait for my next visit!

My friends recently held a wedding reception at this restaurant and overall, it was a lovely experience. The food was delicious—everything was flavorful and well-prepared. The guests especially enjoyed the variety of dishes, and the coconut ice cream was a hit (even though during the actual event, it wasn’t served in a coconut shell like it was during the taste test). A small detail, but it would’ve added that special touch to the newly weds’ expectations.

The staff were attentive and professional throughout the lunch. We had a private room, which was great for the event, but we were a little surprised when we were asked to keep the noise down—especially since we were only clapping for the newlyweds. It felt a bit awkward given the occasion.

That said, the overall vibe was warm, the service was solid, and the food was truly yummy. Still a beautiful day to remember.
