It’s got a dated feel with shoddy plastic tables and chairs. They still have COVID-era plastic barriers up, and they are completely plastered with various papers and notices.
The plasticware they give you is not sufficient for the task of cutting the food.
The chicken was decent, but the pork chop was gristly, and the rice was clumpy.
There was a cockroach on the floor of the bathroom.
The bubble tea was good, though. And the cashier was pleasant.
Today, I was incredibly grateful for their exceptional service. I accidentally made a mistake on my online order and called to see if it could be fixed. The lady on the phone was so sweet and understanding! When I came to pick it up, she immediately recognized my order before I even said anything and was so kind and helpful!
They deserved a 5/5 even before today! I wish I could give them even more stars. Thank you so much for the wonderful service and absolutely delicious chicken!
I am updating from my last visit. Ordered Taiwanese chicken, pork chop, and beef noodles. The chicken and pork chop was great, super crunchy and juicy meat. The rice comes with ground pork on top and mildly seasoned side cabbage. The beef noodle was good.
The decorations are nice. Seats are limited, not for groups.
I waited until 7:30, but my food still didn’t come out, while people who came after me got their food first.
Then they told me I had to wait another 20 minutes because they needed to cook the rice. I ended up changing rice to fries, but still had to wait extra times.
It’s amazing how they serve people who came later first, and tell me to keep waiting. What an interesting service.
Fried tofu had no sauce accompanying it – but the bottom of cup had a layer of oil and the bottom third of the tofu was gooey and stuck together. Weird texture. Dry. Definitely needed sauce.
String beans were just regular beans that were maybe fried in a pan? Also no sauce, just dry beans? They had some kind of spice shaken on them.
Husband had fried chicken nuggets/French fries. French fries are the shaped wiggly kind. They also had no sauces with them.
2 questionable appetizers and one mediocre meal cost $35.
Placed an to-go order for 2 Ground Pork on rice bowls, Taiwanese popcorn chicken and fried green beans.
The rice for both bowls were completely mushy (not from the sauce or pork)- felt like I was eating porridge that clumped into a rice ball.
The popcorn chicken was soggy. And the fried green beans had no flavor.
My drink was great tho! 🙂
Not sure if the chef changed, but this was highly disappointing.
