First time in this establishment, the restaurant is very appealing visually inside and out. We were seated out in the deck . Great marina view. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu. Had a dozen Raw oysters from Virginia, best I have had in a long time. The fish basket was delicious with the fry’s and best Hush Puppies. We will definitely make this our Oyster spot. I highly recommend this place.

Kierra is an awesome waitress, bar none! Service here is outstanding! We had the Rib Eye steak, Spicy Linguine, Baked Oysters Rockefeller and some amazing Bread pudding!!! This our 4th trip here and we absolutely love it. If you are in South Jacksonville FL, and you love sea food and steak, this is your place for some excellent comfort food. A bit pricey, but we’ll worth it.

Great location by the Julington Creek dock. If you can get a seat by the window or outdoors you’ll have a great view. I ordered seasonal items. The colossal shrimp with garlic demi glace and fried snapper bites. The shrimp were massive and I got full just eating those. The snapper and shoestring fries were pretty good. I liked the sauce. I ordered a side of collard greens which were sweet. I’m glad the waitress told me in advance that they were sweet otherwise I may have been unpleasantly surprised by the sweeter taste. Still cooked well and it wasn’t overly sweet. There was a 20 minute wait for a table but I was able to sit right away at the bar which was open seating.

The blackened Mahi Mahi catch of the day, served on grits with brown gravy and turnip greens may have been the best fish dish I have ever experienced. With this being said I always order Mahi on vacation. My husband said his oysters were very good especially after they delivered the 12th oyster. the spicy pimiento cheese appeared to be regular pimento with fresh jalapeños sliced on top so everyone can enjoy. The restaurant had an amazing view of sail boats and our waiter was very knowledgeable and nice. Definitely a come back to location.

After having a horrible seafood dinner the night before I was truly happy to find JCFC. Although they were crowded my waitress was short. I sat at the bar. Derrick and Lauren the bartenders were awesome and attentive. I ordered the broiled seafood platter and a bowl of Rick’s Seafood soup. Both were well seasoned and made with fresh ingredients. If you are in the area I highly recommend that you give JCFC a try.

I loved this place. Went here for lunch. At a place like this I’d go for blackened Halibut or trigger fish but unfortunately they didn’t have it.
The server recommended a fish that was similar to the trigger(forgot the name) and it was a great recommendation!
They have indoor and outdoor seating on the second floor patio that looks over Julington Creek.
Everything on that plate was fresh & delicious. Good portion and very fair pricing for a fresh fish camp. Will go again.

Delicious!! Great food. Great selections. Friendly and helpful service. Blackened Mahi and Grits were YUMMY. Calamari was done just right! Drinks had a kick. Enjoyed it all the way around. We’re able to split a meal and they accommodated it in the kitchen and split it for us!!

Went here for a lunch date and the food was amazing. Along with the items pictured(Whole fried snapper and the Shrimp and grits, we also had the Tuna Nachos and a Crabcake which was so delicious, we forgot to take pictures . We will definitely return!

My wife and I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Julington Creek Fish Camp this evening with another couple we had just helped move to the Jacksonville area—and what a memorable experience it was.
We started with both the blue crab chowder and the clam chowder, and honestly, either one could have been a meal on its own—rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. For our entrées, we shared a seafood broil and a flounder special, and it was some of the best seafood we’ve had anywhere. Truly outstanding.
The setting made the evening even more special. We were seated at an outdoor table overlooking the water, and as the sun set across the bay, it created a relaxed, beautiful atmosphere that felt like a gift at the end of a long day.
As wonderful as the food and setting were, what really elevated the experience was our waitress, Bethany. She was creative, thoughtful, and genuinely delightful to interact with—guiding us through the menu, making great suggestions, and engaging with us in a way that felt both professional and warm. My wife and I even commented that if people in the surrounding area were as kind and welcoming as Bethany, we’d be seriously tempted to relocate here ourselves.
Exceptional food, a stunning view, and truly outstanding service. We can’t recommend this place highly enough and look forward to returning.
