Third visit here and it never disappoints! We came today to try their Golden Hour, the oysters and potato croquettes were so good. The ribeye with miso bone marrow butter is our favorite from their regular dining menu. Linh was an amazing server, she is so friendly and attentive. Everyone we’ve encountered has been great. Always a pleasure dining at Juliette Oyster Bar & Steakhouse. Highly recommend visiting!

Bison Plumbing had our Christmas party at Juliette’s tonight! Our friends LeRhonda and Theron opened the gorgeous oyster bar and steakhouse in Norman in October. We have been wanting to try it and this was the perfect opportunity. The front of the restaurant greets you with stunning Christmas decor and an upscale vibe. The interior is done in exquisite taste with a dark romantic vibe, intimate nook spaces and ambient lighting throughout. The atmosphere eludes to the scale of care put in to the service and the culinary experience! We had a sampling of so many things from the expertly planned menu. Oysters, crab cake, lobster cream pasta, filet, scallops, redfish, shrimp cheddar grits, asparagus, broccolini, tallow fries, and mashed potatoes…..our entire group is so full! Boston and I agree that the scallops are the best we ever had! The steaks are modestly seasoned allowing the flavor and soft texture to really shine! The cheddar grits were a hearty surprise!

Thank you so much for hosting our dinner! We love you guys and we found a new go to date night favorite! See you soon!

I wanted to love this place, but the execution was baffling. We waited over an hour (7:00 to 8:14) just to have our food order taken tonight. 27 minutes to get our 2 cocktails to the table (only one drink came out and we reminded her we were missing one) Our waitress was nice but not attentive at all. Some of the other staff also seemed completely in the weeds and rather than helping the floor, or touching tables checking on guests the manager stayed behind the bar mixing drinks.

The food had moments of potential (steaks were good), but the details were a mess. Oysters were delivered without identification, the mushrooms were flavorless and half cooked, and the “side” portion sizes on the fish were insulting-three pieces of broccolini is not a side dish that’s a garnish. Also, charging $4 per refill on fountain drinks is bold and not common practice in high-end establishments but especially not when you have to flag the waitress down and ask for a refill yourself every time. It felt familiar and almost chaotic rather than premium to us like it’s still Mcnellies or Ink-Fire on the inside. I left still hungry and frustrated to say the least. Next time I’m looking to drop $400 on dinner maybe I’ll consider The Ranch, Red Prime or Mahogany?

Husband and I went for our 3 year anniversary dinner and we were so happy we did. The lobster bisque soup, the wedge salad, our steaks, the oysters, the drinks…everything was AMAZING.

I thought I didn’t like oysters after trying them on a couple vacations, and it turns out I just had not had good ones because I loved the selection here. Each one I tried was outstanding (can’t remember the names but the Canadian region ones were my favorite). 10/10 and can’t wait to come back!! My husband is very picky about his steaks and hard to impress, and he loved the quality and they were cooked to perfection. This spot is incredible and we are looking forward to visiting again! The owners were also there and so kind and attentive. Thank you for a wonderful experience!!

We went to Juliette Oyster Bar & Steakhouse last night for our anniversary, and it was outstanding! The food, drinks, and service were all impeccable. The atmosphere has such a great vibe (cozy, warm, and inviting) and the portion sizes were perfect. Everything we tried was fantastic, but my personal highlights were the crab cake and the short rib… both absolutely delicious. And the chocolate pot de crème was the perfect way to end the meal! It’s a charming little spot right on Main Street in downtown Norman, and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Have you ever had a grilled lemon? Neither had I, until Juliette. It sounds like a small thing, but here it seems that no detail is too small to be tended to. Each dish has a distinct approach. They grill some of the vegetables, but not others, which is smart because then everything stands on its own.

The grilled oysters were the best we’ve had, and we like the bread it comes with (and yes, the warm grilled lemon) were a nice touch. The details make you feel like someone in the kitchen really cares about your experience.

The cocktails are well balanced– nothing cloyingly sweet! And I could even eat the delicious cheesecake without getting a headache. Most sweets are just too much. Not this.

The staff couldn’t have been more pleasant or attentive. No snobbery or slacking here.

The place is spotless. The bathroom smells good. The chairs are so comfortable you won’t want to leave (seriously everyone at our table mentioned the chairs on the way out. lol).

My other favorites were the soup and wedge salad. We’ve tried several of the sides and all were good with large portions.

Can’t wait to come here with various friend groups. Everyone we’ve been with so far (we’ve been 3x ) loved it.

Absolutely delicious! I had my oysters chargrilled, and let me tell you, best ones I’ve ever had! If you remember crawfish pot they were the only other place to get chargrilled oysters and Juliettes are way way better. I’m super happy they opened here and I really hope they stay a long time.

Edit due to response: The server did not offer to replace it. I asked if this was how all cocktails were served and he just shrugged his shoulders and said “I don’t know”.

The meal was good and the service was fine.

Started dinner with an $18 cocktail that was literally less than an ounce of liquid. See picture.

Wanted to love this place. Spent over $300 for two people and just didn’t feel like it was worth it.

MY GOSH, THIS PLACE! I was beyond excited that we were able to get a last minute reservation on Friday the 13th in February….the day before Valentine’s Day. I have been watching this place from the time they announced they were opening. From the moment we walked through the door to the moment we walked out of the restaurant, there was nothing but a wow factor. The food was INCREDIBLE. We opted not do the fixed menu, we had the Lobster Bisque, 7oz Wagyu Petite Strip, the 6oz Prime Filet, Brussels Sprouts, and Mac & Cheese. Lord help, the lobster bisque isn’t anything like the other lobster bisques I have had. The steaks, goodness, they are melt-in-your-mouth, almost able to cut them with a fork. The mac & cheese, the best we have EVER had in our ENTIRE lives! The brussels sprouts were good (not the best ever, but still delicious). The atmosphere is intimate and upscale, the kind of experience you’d expect in a much bigger city. This last-minute reservation turned me into a lifelong customer, and it’s now at the top of my list for bringing out-of-town friends and family.

My wife and I have been wanting to try Juliette since the day it opened, and we finally made it in for what I’m certain will be the first of many visits. Parking was easy right on the street, and even though we stopped in on a whim without a reservation, we were lucky enough to find two seats at the bar, which offers the full menu.

The moment we walked in, the atmosphere pulled us in. The space is beautiful—warm, intimate, and thoughtfully designed. I’ve traveled quite a bit, and I love the charm of those long, narrow restaurants you find in New York or Chicago. Juliette captures that same energy up front, with a more traditional dining room tucked away in the back. It couldn’t have been executed better.

Our bartender was young but absolutely top‑tier. His service was attentive without being intrusive, and his Old Fashioned was one of the best I’ve had in a long time. He was easy to talk to and genuinely elevated the entire experience. A second bartender came on later with that same polished, welcoming presence. Even though she didn’t make our drinks, her service and conversation were just as impressive.

The menu made it hard to choose—everything sounded incredible—but I went with the filet and cheddar grits. The steak was cooked perfectly (medium rare) and practically melted in my mouth. The grits were on another level entirely. My wife had already eaten earlier, so she ordered the wedge salad and still ended up stealing bites of my meal. The salad was crisp, cold, and fresh—exactly what it should be.

One thing that really stood out was the owner. He was hands‑on with his staff while still taking time to greet guests, and you could feel the pride he has in the place. The level of training and care shows in every interaction. It made the whole experience feel personal and genuinely local.

There isn’t a single thing I would change about our visit—other than wishing I had the stomach capacity to try more of the menu. I recommend Juliette wholeheartedly. Norman is lucky to have a steakhouse of this caliber.
