Loved the food and service here. Will definitely be back in the future. If you are anywhere near here I couldn’t recommend eating here enough. The burger came out fast and i ate it almost as fast. If your looking for fresh food served with a smile this is your place.

Horrible food.. idk if the others are locals & just don’t have any other options.But who puts fibrous garlic peels in their beans? Looks like hair…so made my daughter disgusted then I was turned off because Initially I did not know what they were.
Just cook to lazy to peel the garlic? makes it so unappealing! Then breakfast time & no coffee? Dirty chairs & wobbly table. Loud waitress….just keep driving to Del rio or Uvalde trust me.

Yum! The lemonade here is fantastic (do yourself a favor and get some) and served in a massive mug. We showed up on a Sunday and went with the lunch buffet and everything was delicious. It was a mix of feeling like after church lunch with your family and Thanksgiving (soooooo much food and you leave fuller than is probably wise).
The chicken was perfectly seasoned with crunchy skin and moist meat. The barracho beans were in a crock pot and just melted in your mouth. There was even deviled eggs!
We came by after a weekend at Kickapoo Cavern SP and recommend this stop for anyone nearby. Very homey feel.

The young waitresses were polite and attentive. However, as I was leaving, I noticed an older woman from the back come out and start speaking aggressively to them right in front of customers. It was uncomfortable to witness.

Stopped in from a long motorcycle ride. My friends had Mexican food. I had a cheeseburger on homemade buns. Very good! The waitress was very attentive and polite. A nice place to get off the road for a while. The salsa was excellent

The two young girls who were waitressing were very respectful, but while I was checking out, I saw and heard an older woman from the back—possibly with the cooks—come out and get in their faces.
