Edit: added a star. Been back a couple times now, never bad food, always friendly staff, excellent service and atmosphere. I’d actually say the chef serves cuisine, not just food. (I watch a lot of cooking shows and like to throw fancy words around, eh?) Seriously though, the food is gorgeous (and so is the wine).
Original review: Lovely high-quality food made with very good ingredients and an excellent balance of spices. Lovely atmosphere. Very friendly, welcoming hosts, even though we walked over in the summer and were a bit sweaty for such a fancy place. Definitely worthwhile. We’ll probably be regulars.

The food was good, and the service was AMAZING. I made our reservation online for Mothers Day, and in the optional comments I asked if they could put a sunflower as a centerpiece on the table as it is my wife’s favorite flower. Not only did they do this, but they decorated her salad appetizer & her entree plates with sunflowers in a very elegant fashion. WOW. Above and beyond what I expected.
When talking about the menu to the server I happened to mention that I liked Chicken Parmesan. It is not on the menu, but he took it upon himself to ask the cooks if they could make it. They did. Outstanding!
We only had a glass of champagne each. Obviously its like $6-7 a glass, but man they make it count. Our glasses were like 99% full. No cheaping out here.
They had a pianist playing a variety of live tunes this night. It was the right volume and mood for the evening.
If you are looking for a slightly upscale dinning experience with good food, ambiance, and amazing service then I highly recommend this restaurant.
Our bill was about $60. I paid $80 for the absolutely outstanding customer service.

I was impressed eventhough i do not have high expectations when I do reservation for this place for first time. The food was excellent and good server. I like it when the main lady (maybe she’s Julia?)always come around and checking on us. So,I came again for second time with my family and its even more better. Everything was perfect! I would highly recommend this place and would love to come again! Good job Julia and the team! (Don’t forget to bring some cash for tips for the local musician)

Gorgeous restaurant!! I loved my meal. I’m a vegetarian and found many different options. I dined with someone who is gluten free and they also found many well labeled choices. Both people I dined with found that their food was underdone- more rare than medium-well. the chef took the food back and cooked it longer. Everyone was very helpful and kind. The food was great and I had a great overall experience!! I definitely recommend this restaurant!!

The food was really good and the service was pretty good as well. All I can say is, I don’t know what this place is trying to be. When you walk in, on the left there’s like a big open floor and a bar and on the right it’s like a fancy restaurant and they had valet. There does seem to be some kind of turf war with the Babies-R-Us parking lot next to Julia’s and there were lots of warnings about being towed from that lot. All-in-all this was a very nice place to eat with good food and live music. I would eat there again.

This is a big, empty restaurant where you immediately get the feeling that they aren’t getting enough customers to pay the bills for much longer. Food is OK, service is OK (a bit slow). If the prices matched that standard this could be a success. The problem is, you spend $25-35 per entree here for just “OK” when you could get good or very good for that price elsewhere in the area. They have already started doing brunch and groupon so it’s just a matter of time.

This place is a bit weird. They try to do elegant with a folk singer and what looks like a DJ boooth with color changing neon lights behind the folk singer. A bar on the other side of the open room with about 5 different TV’s making it look like a sports bar on that side.
The food was not good at all. The waffles weren’t bad but the chicken was not good. (Can’t even explaine it!) Bland with no crisp and dry.
The Rib-Eye was not cooked properly. It didn’t taste very good and was chewy.
The potatoes augratin tastef like they were frozen. Not even close to fresh and dry. The potatoes were ehhh. Nothing was moist. Everything was dry. The atmosphere is severly lacking as well.
The price in No Way matches the quality. It just wasn’t very good at all.
My wife and I had to stop and grab a bit after we left to get the taste of the place out of our mouths and my wife feels nauseous. I’m sorry it just was not good.
It was also bot very busy and I can taste why. Subway is much more satisfying and you’ll save a tone of money! Please go somewhere else to eat.

Julia’s is the new restaurant in Chantilly- which is great because they needed one!
This family ran restaurant was very welcoming of me and my roommate when we visited. We were given choices of booths or tables when arriving and promptly seated in our desired location. Our server was very friendly and made us feel like we were talking to a friend when ordering- giving their favorite selections and opinions on drinks/dishes.
We ordered the mussels to start as our appetizer. The mussels came out presented very nicely! They were big and looked very appetizing. The bread that was served with it threw us off a little bit as both of us were use to having a crostini severed with a mussel dish; we got two soft French cut pieces of bread with olive oil/butter with seasoning on it. A crostini would have been a good crunch for the softness of the mussels.
We then ordered the Rockfish and the Scallops with linguine. My roommate got the Rockfish and loved the presentation!
I got the Scallops with Linguine. The presentation was great! I love the bowls they serve their food in! The scallops were so tender and salt/peppered perfectly! Better then what I could do at home for sure! I would love to see this dish with a lemon butter/oil sauce instead of the white sauce.

Great atmosphere, well assembled menue that changes from season to season. Not like anything else in Chantilly. Would highly recommend this place to any of my friends and family..Saw a review up top that’s it’s expensive for what you get….Good real food assembled by a chef…What did you expect..Maybe try Applebee’s if you want giant American portions of everything hahah. 5 stars all the way!!!
