A great place to get a great meal in the Burg. Food is definitely the star of the show here. Its southern style food with generous portions. Plus they seem to have quite a few items on the menu for other dietary preferences which is always good to see. The cocktails are excellent plus are reasonably priced which was awesome. The service and atmosphere are all good but nothing special. All in all, I definitely recommend and will be back at some point.

Ok this place was WAY better than I expected it to be I will be honest. The food, and the drinks in particular were just exceptionally great! I had the Dream Weaver cocktail and wow I loved it! We got fried cauliflower appetizer that was super and we all devoured it. I ordered a shrimp Po’boy because I have not had one since I was down south. It was quite good but I have to talk up what my son ordered!!! The Dirty Bird sandwich. Oh. My. Lord that was one amazing sandwich. I took a bite and it was full of complex and complimentary flavors. Salty and creamy pimento cheese, sweet flavorful hot honey, soft sweet waffle bun, and lots of Smokey bacon and a big chicken breast. This was one heck of a sando!!! My compliments to the kitchen!

My girlfriend and I stopped at this place kind of randomly on our way to see Dave Matthews. I’m from the south and I saw in the reviews that they were pretty proud of their fried chicken so I voted that we go there and she agreed and so we did.
I had no idea walking in that I was about to have one of the best meals of my life. Literally every component of the fried chicken and waffle dish was the best version of that component that I’d ever had. The waffle was astounding the syrup was delicious The biscuit that I got on the side was phenomenal. It was a large serving and I almost ate all of it because I just could not stop. This place is probably two and a half hours from my house and I can see driving back specifically to eat there in my future

I love going to this establishment! The atmosphere, food, and drinks are amazing, to say the least. I just had the “Dirty Bird” chicken sandwich and it is by far one of the best, if not THE best chicken sandwich I have had in my life! Pair that with a good “Old Fashioned” with Buffalo Trace bourbon makes the perfect meal!

We were looking for a lunch place in town that we were passing thru but specifically wanted to check out downtown main street. I found this place and it said it had fried green tomatoes (which i haven’t had since i was in New Orleans & i miss them). When i called to confirm they were dog friendly (it said outdoor seating), they said they were but not kid friendly (which was fine as we didn’t have kids with us). We got there – not busy as mid afternoon during the week and went inside to confirm where we could sit. Our order server came out with menus & took orders. Found out they didnt have the fried green tomatoes so I was very disappointed but they did have deep fried pickles (not spears) and that was fine. Ordered off the Happy Hour menu which was prefect size. My husband & I ordered the same entree but different sides. Sometimes Buffalo Sauce can be overwhelming so i asked for it on the side and was accommodated. It took some time to get our food and once it was delivered no further attention from our server (went in to get to go box, the check and the plan chicken that I ordered for our dogs that had not been delivered). Overall, the price was fair, the food okay (enjoyed the pickles & mac salad), dog friendly (which is major) and had a great location. As a person with serving experience, I wished it was more attentive than what it was. Give it a shot.

You can bring your dog, so we did. They’ve small heaters which we used as it’s still winter. Food was great. I tried a couple of their beers on tap. Indoors looks nice and cozy. We will try indoors next time.

I absolutely love this place! Sad I didn’t try it sooner! Great service, reasonable prices, lots of N/A drink options (mocktails, beer, wine), and the dirty bird sandwich was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten and I know good food. I like the decor and music playing, it creates a nice date night or casual handout vibe.
