My husband & I came here on a whim one Sunday night for the first time. Security was kind & professional. The DJ did his thing, creating a nice environment from the moment we stepped inside. We found a place to sit & waited for our server. It didn’t take long however, our waitress could have been better. She lacked personality & after receiving our food, she didn’t give us any napkins, utensils nor did she check on us. We had to track her down & had to get a fork to eat the food with from a completely different server. The food was really good & cooked well. My husband stated his fish was a little salty & the fries were greasy but had good flavor. My oysters were good, a slice or two of lemon would have complimented them well. The mac & cheese was flavorful but slightly greasy, however that braised kale stole the show. Overall I’d give the food a 9/10. We plan to return & make it a date night spot for us but I genuinely hope the service is better because everything else about this spot scores high.

New spot that opened one month ago. Braised ox tails with cabbage, peas & rice were delicious. Oysters were amazing. We ordered another round!!! A bit pricey but worth the price. I enjoyed my drink as well. Nice vibe. Music was nice, not too loud but definitely setting the mood for me and my bae. Customer service was good as well.

The only thing is the drinks were high. I paid 16 dollars for one alcoholic beverage other than that the food is delicious the service was awesome. The atmosphere and vibe was on point.

Great new spot in downtown Augusta. And Jermaine’s done a really good job at creating a space for people to relax and chill. Thankful for more people investing in our downtown community and making places for people to connect. The salmon and the wings were really good. Drinks were great too!

The atmosphere was good vibes. The blueberry lemon drop was good, great bartender. The main reason I came was for their famous oxtails. Unfortunately I couldn’t order because they said it would take 3 hours to cook. I personally think if you open at 5 this should’ve been started before you open. In addition, this is an upscale restaurant, we shouldn’t be eating out of paper plates and utensils, waitress told me they haven’t cleaned the dishes yet. Again not prepared before opening. To me the candy yams was can Gloria sweet potatoes not homemade. Maybe I came on a bad night. I see a lot of potential in the restaurant but hopefully things will get better. To the owner who responded, my husband and I were there 30 minutes after opening. Which left only four entree to choose from.

The experience was a vibe ✨️ we went on a Thursday night. The waitress was slow to respond and we had to wait for everything. The lambchops were the best!!! 10/10 highly recommend. The drinks once we finally got them 10/10. The sides were cold mac n cheese/cabbage and the oxtails weren’t tender or good at all per the group of people I was there with.

I recently went to the jukebox after seeing it being advertised on TikTok. Upon entry, you have to show ID and my husband got patted down. I went on a Sunday and they had a DJ that kept the vibe alive. I ordered a spinach dip, oysters, salmon, and two drinks that came up to $128.00. I had enjoyed everything except the oysters and an 18% gratuity is added to all checks regardless to size of your party.

I have been coming to Jukebox the past few Sundays and I am finally ready to leave a review because this place deserves it. The food is phenomenal. Last night was my first time trying their mac and cheese, and let me tell you, when you first look at it, you might think, “Hmm, okay.. It looks basic.” It is not bad looking, just different from the usual baked mac where they add melted cheese on top. But do not let the look fool you. The flavor is next level. It is better than most mac and cheese I have had at lounges or restaurants, and I am a cook myself. I hope they never change that recipe because I wish I had a bowl right now.
Their kale is perfect, the wings are delicious, the mashed potatoes are phenomenal, the green beans are delicious, and the salmon is cooked beautifully. I have also tried the lamb chops and they were very good with that grilled flavor. They were a little salty that day, but still really good and you can tell they were on the grill. That grill taste is what sets their food apart.
Now for the oysters. I have had them both ways, with cheese and without. Personally, I do not care for the cheese version, but I am from Florida (Duval!) and we have a lot of oyster spots, so I am picky. Without cheese is the way to go for me. If they added just a little more seasoning to the non cheese version, it would be perfect. The grill flavor really shines and that is what makes them good.
My husband had the oxtails with rice and peas and he gave it a solid 10 out of 10. He is not easy to please, so that says a lot.
The lounge itself is beautiful. I love the setup, the TVs, and the vibe. The lady who brings our food is always so sweet and attentive. I do wish they offered a military discount one day, but I understand for now. I also had a French 75 and it was decent, but I would love to see it served in a flute glass. It just gives that classy energy. Still, the bartender was very nice and that matters too.
I also think they should consider adding desserts, even if they partner with a local baker. Something like red velvet cake and/or warm apple pie with ice cream would be amazing. Just two dessert options would be enough and would complement the food perfectly.
Lastly, I would love to see a daytime DJ or day party on Sundays. I prefer to come earlier since I have to work the next day and I know other people do too. Having a daytime vibe along with the evening party would be perfect.
Overall, 5 out of 5. The food, the flavor, the grill, everything hits. You can tell they cook with intention because it shows in every dish. Jukebox is officially one of my favorite Sunday spots.

The ambience of the place was dark. The music was both loud and offensive. Some of the attire of other patrons were somewhat disturbing. Food was tasty, but just a bit overpriced.
