The food here was very good. We were seated quickly. The garlic boc choy was better than most I’ve ever had. Highly recommend getting the Dan Dan noodles.

Dev 25 Pork and corn dumplings. Decent, tasty dipping sauce.
Xiao Long Bao – like before, decent but won’t knock off DTF. No soup spoons or fresh ginger provided either.
Beef rolls – Tasty, fresh green onions, interestingly, cucumbers added, too.
Service mediocre. While order taken quickly, no follow-up for delivering more napkins, etc during the meal until finished eating and clearing the table.

Oct 25 1. Xiao long bao or steamed dumplings are decent. Not going to knock Ding Tai Fung or Long Xing Ji off the map, but their taste is ok.
Most likely because I didn’t get a great reading off today’s order because it came almost lukewarm. Not even as hot as a hot Starbucks coffee, which everyone knows isn’t even steaming hot like Long Xing Ji’s dumplings that are fresh out of the steamer. So halfway through eating them, the remaining were cold, unsatisfying.
2. Chinese pancakes are thin, unlike fatter ones from Peking Restaurant or AJ. Up to you which style.
My first bite’s impression was that of a burnt pan, so that wasn’t as enjoyable as the other two sources where it doesn’t come with that taste. No salt on the table, so bland by itself imo. Their chili on the table was good in boosting its flavor.
3. Don’t go to a dumpling restaurant for fried noodles. It’s got spinach, soy(?) beans, chicken for the vegi+ chicken order. Foodservice chicken, bland sauce, forgettable.
As for service, non-attentive after they’ve dropped off your plates. You gotta call them over because they’re focused on to-go orders, take-outs, etc. rather than on attending the the basics. So more like a fast food joint.

Walked in hungry, left happy. This is what happened when we stumbled upon Juicy Dumpling Factory in Huntington Beach. Always in the hunt for good places to eat and they did not disappoint. From the cleanliness of the place, the food (of course), and equally important is their excellent service. All of their staff who helped us were all very friendly and very respectful.

I was curious about their dumpling so we ordered a pork dumpling, classic chow mein with shrimp, and my all time favorite stir fried green beans with garlic. All dishes tasted great.

We definitely enjoyed our time dining here, so we will definitely come and visit again.

The beef noodle soup, pork soup dumplings, and chili oil wontons were really good! However, the chicken soup dumplings and pan fried pork and chive dumplings were really just okay in taste. The chives were very overpowering and took away from the taste of the dumpling itself. The chicken wasn’t bad, but it also wasn’t nearly as flavorful as the pork ones.

The service here was good. They didn’t do anything that particularly stood out to me, but they were friendly enough.

Honestly, the food passes, but I’m not sure if I would choose to eat here over other dumpling/dim sum spots!

Better than din tai fung. Seriously. The hype is worth it! And this place is more affordable.

XLBs are delicious – super flavorful soup inside and we absolutely LOVED the beef roll!

Spicy wontons are a classic and their potstickers are full of flavor (see pic for how they looked, super cool presentation). Orange chicken was the best I’ve had at any restaurant…

Overall, the service is fantastic and the food is something I’m already craving again. I’ll be back soon.

Visited this restaurant on a whim today and we were pleasantly surprised. Every dish was tasty. I enjoyed the strawberry yogurt drink but I found the mango green tea overly sweet. Perhaps you can modify the sweetness level, but I didn’t ask at the time. The dumplings were yummy, and next time I will have to try the juicy dumplings (their specialty). The green beans were excellent and the chow mein was fabulous. Always order the cucumber, because…cucumber is good for you!

We did take out and even though I have to admit they are not the best dumplings that I ever had, but pork dumplings were very good! I also had beef brisket soup and it was tasty and flavorful. Bit spicy but just enough to add to the flavor- I don’t eat spicy food. Prices are very reasonable for now. I am so happy we have dumplings place here, in Huntington Beach. We used to drive to Anaheim but now we have dumpling place in HB!!! Yes, I am aware about HMart food court but they closed early

You guys, I almost want to gatekeep this spot because it’s too good to be true. If you’re craving xiao long baos without the crazy wait times, RUN, don’t walk to Juicy Dumpling Factory.

They’re serving up authentic Chinese dishes like spicy pork wontons and soup dumplings. Theirs has a little bit of a doughier skin, which I personally like more.

The staff recommended the stir-fried chili chicken which is so perfectly numbing spicy, but the chicken could be juicier and batter could be better though.

My favorite had to be the beef rolls, the meat from that is just succulent and JUICY. Perfect outside wrap (not too salty or oily).

Thanks for reading! ^-^

I am delighted to have discovered this authentic Chinese dumpling restaurant in HB! There is not only dumplings on the menu, but also noodles, vegetables, and entree dishes such as Mao tofu and Kang pao chicken. I believe the turnover is fast, but it does get crowded. We have been coming here for quite some time now. You will not be disappointed when you visit!
