We had omakase tonight and are already planning the next visit. The food was wonderful, the textures and flavors an explosion of delight. Service was friendly and attentive, and there’s a great sake menu too. Grateful to have such an excellent place close to home (I mean, I did mention the sake :))

My partner and I came here to celebrate our anniversary. Right from the beginning our waitress, Alisa I think her name was, was very happy to be serving us. She even asked us if we were there for a special occasion, so of course we told her. When dessert came around, the kitchen had written “Happy 2 year anniversary” in Japanese on our plate in chocolate. That kind of personal touch is what keeps people coming back.

Clean restaurant. Service was inconsistent from very attentive to non existent. Fresh food with quality ingredients but portion size was questionable depending on the dish. Very lacking in seasoning. Salmon sushi 5 ways was quality but too subtle and almost tasted all the same.

Went here for the first time last weekend. It was probably the best sushi I ever had. People need to understand this is not one of those take out places with a huge menu with crazy fusion rolls (not that I mind those), this is a simple and authentic Japanese place.

I had an amazing birthday at Jugemu. The chef and manager are from Tokyo, and the food is fresh and authentic. Service was out of this world with manager Yusuke offering us sparkling sake on the house. Might become my favorite bubbly! Thank you for making me feel special!
