They couldn’t give me a 50 Cent cup of ranch? I was unaware that ranch dressing comes out of their paycheck. Never will I be coming back here again and I will forever save this post as I screenshot it and will show my foodie community. Pathetic. ✌️
Judy’s Kitchen is amazing. I appreciated their food 10 years ago as a student at Rutgers and still order from here after moving back into the city.
As a poor college kid, I could depend on Judy’s to supply 2 meals in one with their stew/rice and side (Traditional plate) for around $10 back then – and the food was always delicious. 10 years later, they still offer very reasonably priced food in massive quantities and it’s just as delicious as it was back then.
Service is excellent – I ordered through DoorDash tonight and they called to let me know they were low on the stew I ordered. The lady offered me several options at no extra cost and it made me feel like they really care about customer satisfaction.
In short, great food, great price, amazing quantities and always friendly.
You guys are awesome!
Ordered on Uber Eats, asked for an addition to my sandwich under “special instructions”. Did not get what I asked for under “special instructions”.
It’s not that I didn’t want to pay for the addition, it’s because Judy’s Kitchen does not, by default, provide that option on Uber Eats. So, I thought adding my request to the special instructions would work, as it does say that the “restaurant may charge for extras”, which is what I wanted them to do. But it turns out, like many restaurants, Judy’s Kitchen refuses to read the entire Uber Eats order. Now if they were busy, I’d understand that they didn’t have the time to read the entire Uber Eats order. But, when I went to pick up my order, it seemed awfully slow and I was the only one in there.
I also understand that this is not the default way to place orders at a small corner store. But on a slow day in a college town, I do expect better attention to detail, and do expect restaurants to know how to use Uber Eats on their end, after all I assume they agree to serve on Uber Eats.
