Upscale comfort at its finest. Judi’s is an ode to things done from scratch, simple menu items done well. Recipes from long ago, when was the last time you had beets or liver? Those are not the predominant items on the menu, which is very well rounded, feels like southern goodness meets southwestern contemporary cuisine. The decor is intimate and low lit, which places a spotlight on the company you might be enjoying, the waitstaff is friendly and knowledgeable, adding to your experience. At Judi’s you feel like you’ve been whisked away, and the only thing that matters is the simple joy, of dining well, and good conversations.

We came here on Friday and the restaurant was not busy at all. Service was slow, but server was friendly. With lounge being in the name I was looking forward to a cold beer…..nope warm glass. The salad was nothing fancy. The chicken artichoke dish was bland and I’m pretty sure they forgot the sauce. My husband got the fish and chips. Fish was good but fries unseasoned. We probably won’t go back.

Jaysi and Joe were amazing as hostess and server. Great team! And hats off to the chef. EVERYTHING was spot on. Reasonable prices and beautiful atmosphere. Thank you for my last meal in Sedona being the best!

Enjoyed a great meal here. Had the Chicken Parmesan on Angel hair pasta. I think the portion was a touch smaller than I expected, but it was enough and was very good. The chicken was moist and the marinara was tasty. My wife had the shrimp scampi and it was good too. Her garlic bread was amazing.
Enjoyed the guitar music during dinner too! Cozy atmosphere.

Very nice hostess(Catherine) and server(Wendy). Lovely and charming southwestern Christmas atmosphere. Loved sitting by the fireplace while Judie could still get the cold drafts from the front entrance.
This was an excellent place for Judie and I to spend reminiscing about the 10 year anniversary of our first meeting!
I love beef stroganoff. It just so happens, that’s what’s on the early bird special menu and it’s happy hour so… of course, I’ll have that… salad was great. Dinner rolls were hot and fresh baked.
Judie’s chicken pasta was good. And she really enjoyed seeing and signing the JUDI guest book… an uncommon name and spelling.
Very happy this day!

This was our first of, hopefully, many visits. This was lunch for us. Great service provided by Joni. I have a food allergy and Joni was careful to check their sauces and desserts for me. Food was excellently prepared. The deep fried mushrooms were crisp and crunchy on the outside while being tender and flavorful inside. Great mushroom flavor came through. My spouse loves Reuben sandwiches and this one ranks as top notch. She really liked the thousand Island dressing on the side, so the sandwich had wonderfully crisp bread. I had the daily special of roast beef au jus. Good flavor and tender beef. This also had great sturdy bread that soaked up the dipping juice while keeping its form. Our desserts were a slice of pecan pie & carrot cake. We liked both but the pecan pie was our favorite, although the size of the cake slice was impressive. The pecan pie is pierced from the top to allow a dark chocolate sauce to fill in those voids. Yes, it tastes as good as it sounds. Some local beers along with regular brands were available. Wines are reasonably priced. I look forward to sampling some bottles later.
We made a reservation for lunch but there were tables available if you want to try your luck.
We look forward to returning.

The service and atmosphere was incredible. The decor very much set the mood and is so different than the typical modern place in Sedona. It’s like turning back the clock a bit. Super classy!! The chicken parmesan was 4/5 stars, but the dessert was superb. Definitely a hidden gem in Sedona and I’ll be back soon!!

Amazing food and service! Tried the special dish of the day which was the lasagna and my partner had the fish. Both dishes were delicious.
The waitress was very accommodating if we wanted to change the sides. Definitely recommend a visit here.

Very cute little restaurant; very clean, nicely decorated with various little accents. Our server, Joseph was very nice, attentive and helpful. My husband had liver and onions (not my thing ) with a baked potato. He said it was good but he would have preferred mashed potatoes. I ordered pasta pomodora with chicken added. Our friends ordered their steaks with different specifications- one was well and blackened, the other was without seasoning and medium-well. Unfortunately, the cook, switched cooking temps as the blackened one came out cooked well. Joseph learned of the error but it was too late in the process -our friends didn’t want to complain and didn’t point out the error- still Joseph attempted to make it right and offered a complimentary dessert, which was very nice of him- our friend got the BBCCCC pie – Butter brickle chocolate chip cream cheese pie – which we all had a bite of. It was very rich but quite good. Basically, it was an enjoyable evening and we would definitely return.
On a side note, I forgot to add. They have an odd policy, to me…. You cannot split food. Being a person who does not eat large portions – I took over half of my pasta back to the condo. I do not normally share orders with my table mates; however, the fact it wasn’t an option may be an issue for other diners when choosing a restaurant.
