I went to Jude’s for the first time and was not disappointed! When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by two workers. I ordered the tender platter (plain because I don’t like anything spicy) and subbed coleslaw for Mac and cheese with the GPA sauce. My husband got the same, but he had his tenders brushed with the nash honey sauce. Our food didn’t take too long at all and everything was super fresh! The chicken tenders are cornflake crusted, making them super crispy, but they were well seasoned. I enjoyed them plain or dunked in the GPA sauce (mayo based sauce). The toast was delicious as well – toasted and buttery. The mac and cheese was good, but I wish there was more cheese sauce. Lastly, the star of the show for me was the super crispy shoestring fries. These fries are my top favorite of all fries I ever had. I can’t wait to go back and have this again! Only complaint is it is such a small place, so seating is limited, but the food is so worth it!

Two times in a row I’ve been disappointed. I chalked the other up to a fluke. My family and I have been here and fans of the place since they’ve opened. The chicken used to be a good size. You can see reviews from others for reference. Especially after they just opened. I just don’t understand what has happened. These are nearly as small as any run of the mill chicken place. Plus, the fries were stale or taste like gas station fries. Still, the price was decent and staff very friendly. Hope the bosses or management gets the food back to what it was.

So, I was looking at the reviews, and there were some not so hot ones… With a 4.4 rating, I was gonna give it a try anyway! Guess what? I don’t know if the negative reviews made this place clean their act up a bit, or I just caught them on a good day, but I had a very pleasant experience!! All that negativity stuff went down the drain for me. I ordered the three tender platter with Nash Honey sauce… It also came with fries, coleslaw, toast, and a dipping sauce. That Nash Honey sauce was spot on, and it paired well with the GPA sauce. The chicken was fresh, hot, and seasoned well. The fries were good and the toast was good as well…
The coleslaw was a little different from what I’m used, but it wasn’t bad. Put it to you like this… I ate it all! I wanted to try one of the Jordy sandwiches for obvious reasons! Lol…
It’s not spelled like mine, but hey, it’s still pronounced the same… lol! Next time, I will try the Jordy with chicken or shrimp, or both!! I told the lady my name is Jordee, and she told me that was the owner’s name… Hey Jordy, maybe you should consider opening a location in Gonzales… I think you would do well here!
Just a little advice, though… Don’t open it near Cane’s or Chick Fil A!!

This chicken’s crunch is phenomenal! Addictive! It leaves you wanting to eat it again. I got Nash Honey Chicken Tenders and Shrimp Platter: not too sweet, not too hot! The spice lingers on in a good way. You don’t have to get spicy sauce or Honey Nash sauce; plain is available too! Their Garlic Pepper Aioli (GPA) Sauce is delicious – perfect match to Nash Honey chicken tenders and shrimp; bye bye Ranch Dip! French fries are extras that are good. Lightly battered, but not obnoxiously battered. You almost can’t tell. The slaw is a delicious addition. I’d recommend it on a sandwich, if I got a sandwich. Move over chicken sandwiches at the spinach eaters place! My husband got the Nashville Hot chicken sandwich, not the hottest of the sauces. He says it’s a good heat, but not crazy hot for him. He’ll get extra hot next time. I highly recommend trying this place and see what you think. My picky husband says, “ Yep. We’ll go back.” That’s, “I really liked it,” in his language! The only thing is lack of parking and seating. We were able to get a table and dined in, and a parking spot too. Once the word’s out, it might not be so easy!
All the staff and owner were super nice, helpful, and accommodating! Thank you all!! We wish you great success!!!

*Service was slacking.
The food was not good at all!
*Chicken was confusing. The crust wasn’t crusting. *Half of the tenders weren’t coated looked more burnt. What little crust was on it tasted like cornflakes.
*Flavor was lacking. The *Nashville hot sauce wasn’t spicy at all and had weird spices.
*The ranch was watered down and flavorless(more like milk)
*The Toast(half of a hotdog bun) was stale and dry.
*The fries were room temperature and clumped together.
*The coleslaw tasted nothing like coleslaw
Tasted like it was seasoned with Nashville hot seasoning, why…..
Overall 1/10
DO NOT RECOMMEND

As my wife and I walked into the restaurant, we were greeted by some very friendly workers. They asked if it were our first time, and they began telling us about the food and how it is prepped and pretty much gave us the rundown on how the restaurant came about. We were sold before we even ordered. Food was amazing, best cole slaw I have ever eaten, chicken was juicy and decadent while holding the perfect amount of crunch on the outside. The Nashville fire sauce was the perfect amount of blazing pepper with an amazing flavor to compliment it. The shrimp were definitely fresh Gulf shrimp. Everything came together to bring us an experience we will never forget. And we will be back and we will bring friends!

Placed an online order for the Tender and Shrimp Platter. Sauce on Tenders and no sauce on Shrimp.
Received order with sauce on shrimp and the shrimp were unfortunately ice cold. My tenders tasted as if they were refried or warmed. I love hot food. So, I was looking forward to the visit.

Grease soaked Fried and Breading on the Food. Greasy everything with a burnt flavored everything even the close slaw. The pepper is different on fried food and not too giving. Burnt Breading in tenders is ridiculous which tell me the outside cooks before the inside and the breading they are experimenting with is not worth it. They should go back to the drawing board on other people’s likes and not their own made up recipe. Could be good if they take away spicy on everything and temperature of the grease to fry without having the bread/potatoes or the breading of the Tenders soaking up all that grease. My arteries need a cholesterol pill and a detox. Nasty won’t ever try this again

They don’t offer much therefore, one could reasonably expect them to do what they do well. I have had Nashville hot in Nashville and this is nowhere close. The place didn’t seem busy at all on a 7pm Friday night but it took north of ten minutes for me to get my tender platter. I drove this plate ten minutes to my RV and it was day old cold by arriving., The toast was either an end piece or half a bun. The tenders reminded me of something I would whip up in my dorm room 25 years ago. I’m one and done on this one.
