My boyfriend and I went on a Sunday for brunch. The ambiance was charming , and the restaurant felt spacious with multiple dining rooms. The hostess was warm and welcoming and seated us promptly. It wasn’t too busy when we arrived, which made for a relaxed experience. They also had a singer performing that day.

We ordered different dishes. I had a crawfish hash with potatoes, eggs, and sauce, while he ordered the Chantilly waffle, which was topped with strawberries and blueberries, along with a side of candied bacon. He really enjoyed his meal. I enjoyed mine as well, though I think the hash would have been even better if I had ordered my eggs sunny-side up to create more sauce throughout the dish. That’s more of a personal preference, as I usually prefer my eggs over hard.

Overall, the experience was enjoyable . Our waiter wasn’t particularly friendly, though she may have been very busy that day. I did have a few interactions with the bartender, who was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about their wine selection. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to try something different for brunch or lunch.

Food for price barely adequate. Gumbo had little to no meat, rice, or substance and was too salty. Ceased salad too watery and little anchovy – watered down mayo salad. The beignets were delicious. Tea too sweet, didn’t drink it and sent it back as well as gumbo – none of it taken off bill. For just our 3 appetizers was $60 – did not taste like it.
Service and atmosphere was great, but nothing to commend. Bathroom adequate.
Suggest other restaurants for better food, but still pleasant experience and atmosphere.

Went for the jazz brunch and got the shrimp toast, shrimp and grits and for a cocktail, an expresso martini. Wasn’t crazy about the sauce on the shrimp in grits but I wasn’t bad. Shrimp toast was great. The martini I never had before so I decided to try today, was pretty good! The atmosphere was awesome

We was looking for something a little different and my husband had a taste for fried soft shell crab. We went for lunch so it wasn’t to busy, we we’re greeted with a smile and very friendly welcome. Our waitress Elaine was so sweet and her recommendation was great. We started with salad a wedge and caesar and appetizers the Crawfish wonton so good. My husband had the Hallelujah crab and I had Redfish Adrian it was good but they could keep the mushrooms and add a little more sauce, I did have a tast of my husband’s crab PEFECT. All in all everything was delicious and good definitely will try again for dinner. Again Eleaine did great.

My lobster and Brussel sprouts were very good. My husband said his fish needed seasoning. We ordered the crab beignets as an appetizer and our server forgot to place the order so they arrived agter our entree. She offered us a free dessert but not of our choosing. They gave us bread pudding that neither one of us eat, but they were very nice about it. We ordered the desserts we wanted, since that’s what we had planned on doing anyway.

Came on a recommendation of a friend.

Atmosphere and service were top notch.

Food was good but not elite.

The wedge salad did not have enough blue cheese.

The tuna appetizer was excellent. Highly recommended.

The hallelujah soft shell crab, which seems like their signature dish was just so-so. Soft shell crab was very fresh but I think they only give you half a soft shell crab. The mashed potatoes doesn’t go well with the crab. Perhaps if it came with a crab meat risotto, it would make the dish stand out more.

The pecan bread pudding tasted a little stale, dry and it came out mouth burning. They microwaved it a little too long.

I hosted my 40th birthday dinner here and everything was top notch. I just wanted to say a huge thank you to the restaurant and staff, the night was wonderful and everything was spot on. Eric did an amazing job and the food and drinks were on point.

Also, I was told that the gimlets at the table were the best gimlets had in Baton Rouge, so kudos as well to the bartenders.

Again, thank you so much for assisting in making the evening such a success!
