Alex was extremely professional and very friendly. The only reason why the atmosphere get four stars is a little knickknack stuff like personal things like I feel like the cheers could be a little more aesthetically pleasing. But other than that, the atmosphere was great The servers were amazing. The hosts was good we got seated immediately. The restaurant was clean. I would just say aesthetically the chairs could use some Work .
Back to Alex, He listened to my order and make sure that I got exactly what I wanted, He suggested to me something that will make it easier on me to order, And I didn’t get my initial waitresses name, but she even suggested me and my wife’s drinks and told us what was the best based on what we wanted.
For a weekend, birthday outing, and my first time actually sitting and eating at Juan’s in Hampton Va… I would definitely come back and recommend this to friends and families.

idk if i ordered the right thing but i order the “philly cheese steak burrito” and it wasn’t fresh. the queso tasted milky. the service as good and i enjoyed the waiter but as far as the food, i didn’t quite enjoy.

Service was horrible. Alex our waiter, to his defense, he was clearly assigned way too many tables to handle. He barely came around to check on us or to get our entree orders. We had to ask for his several times and then flag him down. We mostly interacted with the robot and the floater who brought us our food.
Food:
David’s Salsa wings-regular buffalo chicken wings, edible.
Chips & Salsa: pretty good but that small bowl is not enough for 2 people. We asked for more but because Alex was all over the place, we never got it.
Carnitas: I had the roast pork and it was horrible. They did not bother to season anything.
Barria Ramen: Salty

Lemon drop: nasty
Mango Fresco: my husband drank it
Atmosphere: a fight broke out at the bar.

Experience: Honestly, a terrible experience. Everyone there acted like a tough guy—it was sad. I thought I was just having a normal interaction when someone questioned me, and then another person stepped in asking if I was being bothered. It felt uncomfortable and unnecessary. Not sure if that person was security since there was no visible gear; maybe just someone who had too much to drink and got a little too bold.I came to enjoy myself—dance, meet new people, and have a good time. Instead, I was charged $20 at the door just to feel ostracized for being myself. I got dressed up, paid the cover, and left after less than an hour with only one drink. That’s a big disappointment.The only highlight was the bartender—super cool and made a great Don Julio with pineapple. Props to them for that. But overall, this was not the experience I expected, especially as someone who just moved here.I’d really appreciate a refund or at least a complimentary meal/drink to have the chance to experience some real hospitality, because this first impression was rough. I might try coming back during the day for food and to get to know the staff properly before returning at night. Right now though, I’m honestly shocked by how the night went.

Haven’t been to Juan’s in years but we decidedvto go about 10pm Saturday (yesterday) since our original spotwas closed. Please be advised, I was inappropriately touched by a female (blk) security officer at the door last night. I understand PTC’s quality of nightlight has changed over the years from minors and other shortcomings however it was not acceptable in any form how she was trained or the lack of. I’ve been to numerous of establishments out there and understand a pat down to enter. The security officer ask for our Id, and ask me to turn around and pushed hard my breasts, llift them and squeezed them. I dropped my phone because of it. When I stated what type of search is this, she continued aggressively. Then said, go in. Then she grabbed my S.O.’s privates and squeezed them. Didn’t know that until after we left and decided not go all the way inside. We also thought it was weird being that his jeans were fitted. I had no pockets and leather pants on. Please train your staff and be mindful of sexual harassment and inappropriate searches. Will not be returning!!!!

ALEX IS AMAZING! He made our dine in experience absolutely perfect, down to his service and continually checking on us to make sure we are good and satisfied. 10/10 if he was here every-time I came id choose him every time. His smile, laugh and overall vibe is enough for us to come back.

My first experience here at Juan‘s. The service was exceptional and they also had a robot to bring out your dish. I thought that was the coolest thing ever don’t have to worry about anything tipping over or anything being too heavy for the waitress or waiter to carry. my waitress was super friendly and she was very knowledgeable of the menu selection and of course you know your girl had to order the Birria Taco. At this point, I’m literally in Birria taco expert. Everything was spot on down to the cheese. y’all have to check out the video of how the robot brought out my lunch. The aesthetic was super chill and definitely invite for pictures. I highly recommend and I would definitely revisit

For $17 the cheesy rice and chicken was a let down. Little meat hardly any cheese. also ALL I received in my Togo order was the bowl. No free chips and white sauce which costs the restaurant less than $1. La fiesta and la parilla would never. I would not order again like ever.

We visited this lication 12/11/25 @ approx. 5pm. They were not busy so that’s why i am having a hard time understanding why our waitress Valeria A was so unattentive. We were seated right away, and waited for about 10 min before anyone came to table. Once spoke to, waitress took our drink orders. Return with watered down margaritas. We then placed our order, appetizers and dinner as well as table-side guacamole. The chips brought to the table were over cooked, hard to bite into. Now here comes the guacamole, which had no flavor ($11-really), then the appetizer as well as our main dishes. Really. So we chose to start eating main dishes, knowing the appetizer could go home. The waitress Valeria seem very distracted. Again not busy. She gave the wrong main dish to each of us. By the time we realized it, my meal was half eaten by a guest at my table. At this time I am ready to leave. Poor customer service. The waitress never refilled our waters which were empty because she never asked if we wanted another adult beverage. We then ordered white sauce and chips to-go. We were brought a 2oz container of white sauce. I wanted a to-go order of it. What?! Then we had to continue to sit there for about another 15 minutes, waiting for her to bring the check. Poor excuse for customer service. I don’t get it, in the past things have been good at Juan’s.

The food was decent. Excellent customer service. The prices are a bit ridiculous though. The “regular” queso was almost $7 for like 1/3 cup of dip. Better places to eat if you’re craving Mexican food. But the bar seems popular as it’s packed full of drunken fools. Would eat here again if I happened to be in the area but nothing too special to write home about.
