Located just a minute’s walk from the train station and adjacent to the downtown theater scene, this place is perfect for grabbing a meal before a show. The chili rellenos and chicken enchiladas with salsa verde were delicious and nicely plated. The service was spot-on and friendly.

Let’s start with the free chips and salsa, I love it! Big servings , just look at the food photos . Delicious and perfectly seasoned served hot , careful with the plates . Great service , they get busy but still very friendly staff. I got the beef chimichangas, echilladas , mahi-mahi and the super nachos for appetizer. Don’t forget to try the Jarritos tamarind and guava drinks .

What an amazing place! The food was delicious. I highly recommend reservations as it was very crowded and would have been a long wait if I had not had them. The service was good and we left happy. I can’t say more good things about this place so try it.

I adore Juanitos with everything I have. I’ve been coming here often, for years. My family rented out the back Pavillion for a party of mine when I was a kid, at my request. I have NEVER had something I didn’t enjoy, the resteraunt is always clean, the staff friendly, and the food incredible. I am so insanely happy that Juanitos continues to be an epic landmark to the local area.

Juanito’s Restaurant is the ONLY Mexican food I will eat locally around the Red Bank, NJ area. The food is flavorful, cooked with care, fresh, not so spicy, and NOT salty. The food is very filling and the amount you get is very generous for the price. The food tastes very comforting and authentic to the bone. My food was prepared very quickly and accurately, not a flaw to tell. I love this place and have been going to Juanito’s since 2013 and plan to continue. I love their other location too, which is a small Bakery that also serves some food. Their pastries are AMAZING at both locations! You won’t be disappointed.

Best Mexican food in Monmouth county.! Favorite menu items are their guacamole, smothered burrito and Al pastor tacos. Delicious and authentic flavors, fast courteous service, complimentary chips & salsa with your table, BYOB and very affordable! Great implementation of Covid precautions as well… support this awesome local business!

Really good authentic Mexican food. Service was great, loved the decor and parking is free. Cash tips appreciated. Ordered the Juanito Loco special and the meat was tender and seasoned right. Virgin pina colada was great!

Juanito’s was a little disappointing. The food was a bit bland. A little salt and hot sauce would make it taste so much better. The meat was overcooked. I miss the street food in Mexico.

Give you 1st free chips and salsa (not spicy, but I just added hot sauce to each chip). I would go back if I was in the area, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to go.

burrito loco was the best dish. Fish tacos were okay and came with a side of the chipotle sauce.

Skip the fried ice cream. Didn’t have that crunchy exterior that you crave when ordering fried ice cream. Maybe try the churros?

Also – they’re byob. Do what you wish with that info

Great prompt service, friendly waitresses. Even though it was close to closing time, everything was available on the menu. We were not rushed . Seafood buritto was outstanding. Give me a cup so I can drink the lobster cream sauce! I need to put this on everything in the future. Definitely will go back. BYOB
