Very cute place to go. Decent service and good food. Got the pineapple chicken fajita which was delicious! They gave us fresh chips from the beginning. I almost wish I ate less of those so would’ve had more room for the fajita it made for a good meal the next night too. Would recommend!

Our early evening patio dining experience was superb! Our waiter was very informative and helpful in assisting us. He checked in to ensure everything was to our liking. The food and beverages were beautifully presented and everything was so tasty and fresh. Will definitely go back to Juanita’s in River Prairie again.

1st time here. Food was was fresh, tasty and a heafty portion. There are Keto friendly options.! I cannot stress how fresh our plates were prepared!!! It is located in a beautiful park along a river were you can take a nice stroll afterwards. They have a really nice outside patio with a fireplace. Can’t wait for those summer nights to hang out there with a Margarita Don’t forget to check out the bar it is really cool, it lights up changing colors, FUN!!! Personally the best homemade salsa in town.

First time here. I was very impressed with this restaurant. (new location?). It was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. Came for a Saturday lunch, and got seated right away. Our server did a great job to get us settled in with menus, waters, chips, and salsa.
Got an order of Guacamole. It was just “okay”. It didn’t taste very fresh. We always get Guacomle and have pretty high standards for quality, freshness, seasoning. This batch tasted a little “off”.
The rest of the meal items were very good. Got an order of chicken tacos, the Shrimp & Avocado salad, and one Beef Birria Taco ( with the consome). Everything was flavorful, hot and well presented. Loved the bowl of consome with the birria).
With the exception of the mediocre guacamole, it was an excellent experience. Would come back again.

It is just like every other Mexican restaurant food was medium yoker service was very poor took forever for them to even bring chips. Then took twice as long to even order then 3 times as long to get it very disappointed won’t be going back there ever again

Stopped in for a super fun Cindo De Mayo celebration! Of course we enjoyed the free tequila shots but the food and blended margaritas were also 10/10. The salsa tastes homemade and fresh. Our waitress was so attentive regardless of how chaotic it was! Props to her. Only complaint was the hostesses were really scrambling due to being so busy and causing a scene at the door. They could try to keep those issues private and be more professional in front of customers. Family friendly environment with an adorable little outdoor patio! Highly recommend.

This place is absolutely amazing. I went on the grand opening and the staff was so friendly and attentive! Even though they were crazy busy, I never felt neglected or that I was being pushed out the door. Food was fantastic! The queso… has been entering my dreams… it was fabulous. The new building is beautiful! I love the patio, however I didn’t eat at it, I was to busy falling in love with the color changing bar top!
100/10 will be back, often.

This was our first time eating here. Our server was friendly. Answered our questions about beverages and items on the menu. We asked about a sample of the tap Dos Equis Lager beer, no samples on tap beer. That was disappointing. My husband ordered the house margarita, nothing yo write home about.
Good: we ordered the Juanita’s chimichanga plate and the Fajita Bowl. Very mild not much taste. We’ve had much better Mexican food other places. It took a very long time to receive our food. They filled our chips 3 times before our food was served. We were a table of 4. The chips and salsa were good.
The location, inside and outside areas are nice.
Our group felt the same that the meal and beverages were rated at 2.
